JEE Main 2018 Physics Analysis : Question in Physics were relatively difficult in comparison to last year exam. Weightage was given to current electricity and electrostatistics along with mechanics. Question were mostly calculative in nature requiring lengthy calculations and approximations. If we look at the particular topic, modern physics and waves intrigued most with highest number of questions totaling to 9. Questions in units like errors and approximations and mechanics went little tougher with calculative questions unlike theoretical questions which were generally asked from these units.

JEE Main 2018 Chemistry Analysis : The JEE Main Chemistry question paper was a bit difficult in comparison to last year. There were total of 14 questions from class 11th and 16 questions from 12th. Questions were mostly theoretical in nature but demanded a deeper analysis. Questions from topics like solutions and chemical kinetics were tricky and analytical in nature with lengthy calculations. Questions from topic like elemental chemistry were higher in number and minimum number of questions asked were from stoichiometry and atomic structure.

JEE Main 2018 Mathematics Analysis : Question paper of JEE Main 2018 Mathematics was largely analytical in nature with hefty calculations and presumptions. Questions were mostly designed in such that only one concept and topic has to applied for solution. Equal weightage was given to questions from both the class with 15 questions each from class 11th and 12th. Most questions were asked from calculus and conics while topic like statics and dynamics did not found any place in this year question paper.

how to revise the physics subject which is important for jee main exam and important chapter selected.

chandra keerthi pothina 15th Dec, 2019

hey muskan

Physics is as important as math and chemistry in JEE as it carries equal number of marks. There are important topics hat carry a good weightage of marks like Electrostatics , Oscillation and Waves , Modern Physics, Optics . Do not omit these.

Magnetics, Electromagnetic Induction and AC , Current Electricity , Waves are a few topics that a lot of queestions can be expected from.

Prepare formula sheets or flash cards for formulae from each chapter seperately which will make revision easy.

If you do not have a lot of time revise and focus more on what you already know.

minimum marks to qualify jee mains 2020 for ST category?

chandra keerthi pothina 15th Dec, 2019

Hey priyanshu.

there are a lot of factors determining cutoffs like difficulty of the exam, previous trends, number of people attending and how many seats are available.

I cannot predict the cutoff for 2020 but depending on previous years' cutoffs, minimum marks for qualifying for ST category was around 24-30 marks.

for more information go through the following link: https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff

hope this helped
