Overall Analysis of JEE Main 2020 September 5 Shift 2

  • The physics paper was a bit lengthy, so students reacted that paper was difficult. 3 questions were asked from the units electrostatics and also 3 from oscillation and waves
  • Chemistry is easy and more than 1 question were asked from the units coordinating compound, hydrogen, thermodynamics and some basic principle of chemistry.
  • Maths paper is moderate` to difficult level with 4 questions from limits continuity and diffrentiability and 3 questions from coordinate geometry.

JEE Main Paper 1 Paper Analysis - September 3 , 2020

Overall, the difficulty level of the JEE Main 2020 shift one of September 3 was of moderate level. As per the student's reaction, the questions asked in the Physics section were difficult while the questions in Mathematics and Chemistry sections were of moderate level.

Physics - Most of the questions asked in the JEE Main 2020 Physics September paper were numerical based on equations and concept studied. A total of 25 questions were asked out of which 5 % were difficult, 5 % easy and rest were of moderate difficulty.

Chemistry - Out of 25 questions, 4% were difficult, 52% east and the rest were of moderate level. The chemistry paper of JEE Main September 3 shdt one has given more weightage to physical chemistry.

Mathematics - Almost 64% of the questions asked in this section were of moderate difficulty level.

  • Questions were mostly single concept based questions as observed mostly in all other slots.


  • The level of the exam was moderate and scoring if you prepare well.

  • As per experts, the Mathematics section was moderate to difficult level. Some questions involved calculations and most of the questions were from probability and linear programming. Overall maths section is lengthy and calculative.

  • Physics section was easy to moderate level. All chapters were covered and you can solve all the questions if the basic concept is clear.

  • As usual in the Chemistry section was the easiest one. Most of the questions were directly

  • NCERT based. Memory-based and numerical question was there in the chemistry section.

  • Equal weightage was given to each subject but most of the question is from the class 12th syllabus.

If I can be honest with you then it is really tough or nearly impossible to cover the syllabus of JEE MAINS 2025 in 1 month. JEE MAINS is one of the most toughest exam of India, and it take whole year or even more to cover the syllabus and get admission in top engineering college.

Comedk exam seats are filled by all india quota only there is no reservation for any caste no benefits is given to students who belongs to the state as there is already a reservation exam KCET is there so the students who are interested in taking admission to caste certificate they should appear for KCET exam.

However reservation is applicable only for 8% of seats which are reserved for students from Hyderabad Karnataka (listed 6 backward districts of Karnataka) region students.

Also, they don't provide fee waiver to any students either for local Karnataka students or other state students like JEE.but there is KCET fee waiver available to poor and meritorious candidates whose family's annual income is less than Rs. 8.00 lakhs.
