    • The Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru retained its 2nd position in the Overall Category of India Rankings 2024 for the sixth consecutive year, i.e. from 2019 to 2024. IISc was ranked at 1st position in the Overall Category of India Rankings in 2017 and 2018.

    NIRF Ranking parameters

    Every year, the Ministry of Education assesses institutions based on multiple parameters including teaching, research, graduation outcome and more. The authority has released the 9th edition of the NIRF India ranking 2024 for 13 categories namely, overall, university, colleges, engineering, management, pharmacy, law, medical, architecture, dental, innovation, agriculture and allied sectors, and research institutions. All such institutes will be ranked based on parameters established by the core committee set up by the MHRD. The parameters have been divided into different sub-parameters and are assigned weightage. Each ranking category has its own methodology. Candidates can check the various parameters and the weightage assigned to them from the table below.

    If you have a domicile of Delhi or studied 11th and 12th from Delhi, then yes, your kid has chances to get admission through JAC Delhi .
