Every year, the Ministry of Education assesses institutions based on multiple parameters including teaching, research, graduation outcome and more. The authority has released the 9th edition of the NIRF India ranking 2024 for 13 categories namely, overall, university, colleges, engineering, management, pharmacy, law, medical, architecture, dental, innovation, agriculture and allied sectors, and research institutions. All such institutes will be ranked based on parameters established by the core committee set up by the MHRD. The parameters have been divided into different sub-parameters and are assigned weightage.
