Aspirants were given an additional opportunity to edit the GATE 2026 application for a single day. Candidates were able to modify certain details in the application form within the specified period. The GATE 2026 exam is scheduled for February 7, 8, 14 and 15, 2026.     Candidates must visit the official website of the GOAPS portal and follow the instructions mentioned below.

    • Candidates must visit the official website of the GOAPS portal (GATE Online Application Processing System).

    • Now candidates must log in with their enrollment ID, email, and password.

    • Navigate to the link that says “Application Form Correction / Edit” link.

    • Candidates will be directed to the application form, where they can make all the required changes.

    • After making the necessary changes, candidates must pay the application correction fee.

    • Candidates can also download and print the corrected version for their records.

    What Changes Can be Made Through the GATE 2026 Correction Window?

    Through the correction window, candidates make changes to their personal, exam-related, and academic/address details. However, particulars such as mobile number, email ID, uploaded photograph, or signature are not allowed for correction. Find below what changes are allowed via the GATE 2026 correction window.
