VITEEE 2020 - Vellore Institute of Technology will conduct VITEEE 2020 from April 13 to 19. To prepare well for the upcoming examination, the candidates are advised to check the exam pattern of VITEEE 2020. Using the exam pattern, the candidates are able to know the particulars related to the examination such as duration, mode, medium and more. Candidates are advised to check the official syllabus of VITEEE 2020 before starting off their preparation for the examination. Through the syllabus, the candidates will know which subjects, topics and units have to be studied for the upcoming exam. By being familiar with the syllabus, the candidates will be able to prepare accordingly for the exam. All of the questions in the examination will be prepared on the basis of the syllabus which will be according to the State Board of Higher Secondary Education and CBSE. Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English will be included in the syllabus. Biology has to be studied by those candidates who will opt for Biotechnology.
English and Aptitude
Around 1.62 Lakh candidates had applied for VITEEE 2019. The entrance examination was conducted at 163 centres in India, Dubai, Kuwait, Muscat and Qatar from April 10 to 21, 2019. According to the candidates who appeared for the examination, the question paper gave around 60% weightage to 12th standard. For Physics section, the paper focused mainly on Mechanics, Electrodynamics and Modern Physics. In the Chemistry section, there were many questions from Physical Chemistry while less questions were present from Inorganic Chemistry. Candidates could analyze that in the Mathematics section, more focus was given to Coordinate Geometry and Calculus. Most of the questions for English were from NCERT textbook of 12th standard.

Be familiar with the exam pattern and syllabus - The first and most important tip for a good study strategy is to be familiar with the official exam pattern and syllabus of VITEEE 2020. Along with these, the candidates can also check the important books and topics.
Make notes - While studying, the candidates are advised to make small notes so that they can revise through it anytime, anywhere. This will allow the candidates to strengthen their preparation by constantly checking their notes whenever they have a doubt.
Solve sample papers - By solving sample papers, the candidates will be able to know the exact pattern and the type of questions usually asked in the examination. Since the sample papers will be an exact replica of the real examination, the candidates will be able to figure out the areas in which they need to improve and also learn to manage their time.
Revision - Along with studying new topics, the candidates are advised to constantly revise whatever they have studied to keep it fresh in their mind.
Be Motivated - Candidates are advised to be motivated and prepare in a stress-free environment.

According to Shubham Agarwal (AIR 6 VITEEE 2018), the candidates should given main focus to NCERT books and solving questions present in them. Since there is no shortcut to success, the candidates should focus and work hard in achieving good results in the examination.
VITEEE 2018 AIR 1, Kalash Gupta focused mainly on completing the syllabus of the examination first and then started to practice and solve mock tests and sample papers intensively. He believes that consistency in the preparation is the key for cracking any entrance examination.
Meanwhile, Sai Anirudh (AIR 4, VITEEE 2018), attempted mock tests at least once a week. According to Sai, it is important to be quick and not commit silly mistakes. It is also okay for the candidates to relax and prepare according to their caliber.

In india only government colleges provide mandatory reservations, other private colleges may provide or may not provide reservations.
