Questions related to VITEEE

Have a question related to VITEEE ?

Hey!, based on your rank, you still have a decent chance of getting CSE at VIT-AP, mainly under Category 4 or 5. These categories usually have higher cutoff ranks, so your rank fits in. Just remember, the fees will be higher compared to the lower categories. If you're comfortable with that and really want to pursue CSE, it's a good idea to keep VIT-AP as one of your top choices during counselling. Many students in similar rank ranges have secured seats this way, so don’t lose hope and go ahead with confidence. Good luck!

Hello there,

Yes, as an OBC category student, you are eligible to apply for VITEEE 2025 with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in your 10+2 or equivalent examination. Phodu Club+1Careers360+1 (https://phodu.club/blogs/viteee-marks/?utm_source=chatgpt.com)

Eligibility Criteria for OBC Candidates:

  • Minimum Marks : 50% aggregate in PCM subjects.

  • Age Limit : Born on or after July 1, 2003 .

  • Qualifying Exam : Must have completed or be appearing for the 10+2 examination in 2025 from a recognized board.

Ensure you have the necessary category certificates during the admission process. Meeting the eligibility criteria allows you to appear for VITEEE and participate in the counseling process based on your exam performance.

Hello Devansh,  With your VITEEE rank close to 42,000, it is very much possible for you to get CSE in VIT Vellore (CAT 1 or CAT 2) and possible for VIT AP contingent on the opening ranks for that year. CSE in VIT Vellore is very competitive, especially CAT 1, so it is more realistic to get a stream instead. VIT AP is growing, with areas of opportunity and growing, and better infrastructure than what was in the beginning. If you get CSE there as I indicated, the same thought process indicates that it is worth consideration.

Many students say to avoid VIT Bhopal due to it being new (less facilities) and less industry connections. It also does not compare, facility-wise and industry-wise, to VIT Vellore and VIT AP. However, getting CSE is most important and if everything else fails, braking VIT Bhopal is possible. My suggestion would be VIT Vellore (CAT 1 or CAT 2) if you got to sit for CSE or relevant stream. Otherwise, VIT AP is a strong second option. Avoid VIT Bhopal if you have better options.

Best of luck!
