TANATA 2019 - Anna University will conduct TANATA 2019 entrance exam tentatively in 2nd week of August for admission to vacant/lapsed B.Arch programmes under government and management quota seats. TANATA 2019 question paper will comprise two parts - Part A will be objective type and include questions from Mathematics and General Aptitude, while Part B will be drawing test. Both the parts are of 90 minutes each. Application form of TANATA 2019 will open online mode sometime in 4th week of July. To appear in TANATA exam, candidate need to meet prescribed eligibility criteria. Result of TANATA 2019 will be declared around 3rd week of August and include details like section-wise marks and qualifying status. To qualify in TANATA 2019, one not only needs to qualify in both the papers, but also score the minimum overall score. The minimum qualifying percentage in each part is 25% marks; however, the minimum overall qualifying aggregate marks will only be announced at time of declaration of result.
Sequence for filling B.Arch seats under government and management quota seats
First government quota seats will be filled based on marks obtained by the candidate in 10+2 and NATA 2019. Next lapsed government and management quota seats will be filled based on marks of 10+2 and NATA.
If there are vacant seats left, such seats will be filled based on 10+2 and JEE Main Paper 2 marks.
In this round, any vacant seats left will be filled based on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in 10+2 and TANATA 2019.

All applicants applying for admission to B.Arch courses offered by the university need to ensure they meet the prescribed eligibility criteria of TANATA 2019. In such cases the candidate doesn’t meet TANATA 2019 eligibility criteria, the candidate will not be considered for admission even he/she qualifies in the entrance exam.
Eligibility criteria of TANATA 2019:
Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with minimum 50% marks having studied mathematics as one of the subjects.
Must have secured 50% marks in 10+3 Diploma (any stream) with Mathematics as one of the subjects
Should hold a International Baccalaureate Diploma after 10 years of Schooling securing minimum 50% marks and with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
Candidates who have ascertained their eligibility will have to fill application form of TANATA 2019 in online mode. Registration - The candidate will need a valid email id and mobile number. The candidate will also have to enter details like name, gender, and also select an appropriate password. Upon successful registration, user ID will be generated.
Filling of the application form - Log-in to the application portal to access the application form, which will have different sections like academic, personal and contact details. Each of these sections will have to be duly filled. The candidate also has to select an exam centre from the available options in this step.
Uploading of documents - Next photograph and signature have to be uploaded in JPEG or JPG format.
Payment of application fee - In the penultimate step, the candidate has to pay the application fee in online mode, using net banking, credit or debit cards.

The exam pattern of TANATA 2019 include details related to the structure of the exam, like the question type, subjects covered, number of questions asked, marking scheme, etc. The candidate by following the TANATA 2019 exam pattern will ensure they prepare in accordance with the requirements of the exam.

The question paper of TANATA 2019 will consist of two parts - Part A (Mathematics and General Aptitude) and Part B (Drawing Test)

There are six exam cities or centres of TANATA 2019 where the entrance exam will be held. The allocation of TANATA 2019 exam centres will be based on the preference opted by the candidate at the time of filling the application form.

General Aptitude & Drawing Test

Candidates will be allowed inside the exam hall only if they display the TANATA 2019 admit card, so all candidates need to carry it with them on exam day. The admit card will carry important details like the name of the candidate, roll number, photograph and signature. In addition, it will contain exam information like time and date of the exam and exam venue details.

Exam authorities will release the merit list of TANATA 2019 after declaration of result. TANATA 2019 merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam and 10+2. Candidates who are included in the TANATA 2019 merit list be eligible to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process.
The counselling of TANATA 2019 will be conducted in offline mode, soon after declaration of result and will be open to shortlisted candidates only. Eligible candidates will have to report for TANATA 2019 counselling on the given date and time in person with originals and photocopies of all relevant documents. Please note, all candidates are required to pay the counselling fee.
The counselling process will have steps like document verification, wherein all candidates will have to mandatorily get their documents verified. Any candidate who fails in the verification process will not be considered for seat allotment. Allotment of seats will be based on the merit rank of the candidate and also choices opted for admission.
