The eligibility criteria for the scholarship include students who are admitted to technical or professional courses, either through a competitive examination or directly, with a minimum of 50% marks at the higher secondary or graduation level. The annual income of the student or their parent/guardian should not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakh.

The student must be an Indian citizen with at least 40% disability, certified by a competent medical authority, and admitted to a full-time Post Graduate Degree or Diploma course in a notified institution. The annual income of the student's parents/guardian should not exceed Rs. 6 lakh from all sources.
