JMI B. Tech Application Form 2026

The authorities concluded the JMI B. Tech 2026 registration process on April 28, 2026. Candidates who have fulfilled the registration process can apply for the JMI B.Tech admission 2026. The application process comprises registration, form filling, uploading documents, and payment of registration fees. The steps to fill the JMI B. Tech application form are mentioned below:

1. Registration - Candidates are required to visit the website at jmi.ac.in or jmicoe.in. Herein, candidates will be required to enter certain personal details like name, email ID, mobile number, etc, which shall be used for communication purposes. Once registration is accomplished, candidates will receive an email containing a unique code for verification of their email address.

2. Application Form - After this, candidates will be required to log in and enter various personal and academic details in the JMI B. Tech 2026 application form.

3. Uploading Documents - Candidates will be required to upload their photograph and signature in the prescribed format as shown in the table below:

4. Payment of Application Fee - Candidates applying for JMI B. Tech 2026 admission will be required to submit the application fee of Rs 1000. Payment can be made using Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net banking.

Seats and specializations offered for JMI B. Tech Admission 2026

According to the previous year's notification, the Jamia Millia Islamia offers five specializations in engineering with 70 seats in each course. Candidates applying for JMI B. Tech admission should, first of all, be aware of the specializations to determine if the one they are interested in is offered or not.

B. Tech Seats and Specializations

JMI B.Tech Cutoff 2026

The authority will release the JMI B. Tech 2026 cutoff on the official website along with the rank list. The cutoff of JMI B.Tech admission is based on the rank secured in the JEE Main exam. Candidates whose rank is more than or equal to the cutoff will be considered for admission. It may be noted that the JMI B. Tech cutoff marks vary for candidates belonging to the different categories, as well as for the programmes or specializations they have applied for.

JMI B. Tech Merit List 2026

Based on the candidates’ performance in JEE Main and compliance with the cutoff marks so released, the authority will release the merit list online. This JMI B. Tech merit list contains the names of candidates who participated in the counselling process. Those candidates who found their names in the merit list had to report at the specified venue and time for counselling, wherein verification of documents shall take place, and candidates were also required to pay the admission fee.

JMI B. Tech Counselling 2026

The selected candidates will be informed regarding the selection for Jamia Millia Islamia B. Tech admission through registered mail. Such candidates have to download the counselling letters shared with them and confirm admission through JMI B.Tech counselling. JMI B.Tech Seat is allotted based on the rank secured in JEE Main, course preferences selected, and availability of seats in the particular specialization so opted. Once seats are allotted, candidates have to get their documents verified and pay the requisite fee for affirming JMI 2026 B. Tech admission.
