It seems that you don't qualify for admission in NITs or IIITs. Once check for top 20 percentile of your respective board, if you are in it than can get some of good seat in top NITs.
In case NO, than apply for some other exam like SRMJEE, VITEEE, etc.. or even of your state engineering exam.
Hope it helps
Recently the NTA has implemented the normalization of marks, so we cannot predict in terms of marks since your ranv may be bad even you get more marks than someone with different shift. But we can help you in terms of rank.
If you want CSE in NITs or IIITs- upto 3000. For top NITs - below 1000.
If you want core branch in good NITs-than rank upto 6000.
In case you want to get NIT any how and in any branch upto 10000.
These all were OBC rank. Hope it helps
To get admission in any of NITs/IITs /IIITs or GFTIs you need to have certain minimum percentage of marks-
For general category more than 75%
For SC/ST/Pwd 65% and more is required.
If you don't fulfill this than you need to be in top 20 percentile of your respective board. You can know the top 20 percentile from the josaa website, there has been the pdf containing top 20 percentile of every board for last some year.
