    Manipal B.Tech Scholarship: MAHE offers several scholarships and loan facilities to deserving candidates. There are five Manipal BTech scholarships, namely, MAHE EduEmpower Scholarship, Scholarships for Girl Students, the Freeship Scholarship, the Scholar Scholarship, the Achiever Scholarship, and the Merit-based scholarship for B.Tech lateral entry. Interested candidates must score between 60 - 85% in their last qualifying exam. MIT awards scholarships with a 100% tuition fee waiver for engineering students. The financial assistance is provided to support economically underprivileged students in completing their studies. Admission to MAHE is conducted through MET.     1. Harish and Bina Shah Foundation (HBSF) - MAHE EduEmpower Scholarship

    This scholarship is offered to support engineering students from the economically underprivileged sections of society. This scholarship provides financial assistance covering 100% of the program fee, hostel fee, and mess charges. The HBSF scholarship is offered to students ranking between 1 and 15,000 in the Manipal Entrance Test. To be eligible, the candidate's family income must be less than INR 12 lakhs for the year 2024-25.

    MAHE EduEmpower Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

    • Candidates need to check the eligibility requirements for the scholarship below:

    • Students who have studied classes 8 - 10 full-time in any state or central government school are also eligible. Candidates who studied in private, government-aided, and unaided schools are not eligible.

    • Applicants should score at least 85% in Mathematics, Physics, and optional subjects from a recognised board.

    • The candidate should have an All India Rank in the Manipal Entrance Test between 1 and 15,000. Applicants should also participate in the B.Tech common counselling.

    • Only the top 50 students meeting the criteria will be eligible for the scholarship.

    2. Scholarship for Meritorious Girl students joining B.Tech program at MIT Manipal

    This scholarship is offered to female students under the General category for 5 branches of engineering. The five branches of engineering include Automobile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Candidates are only eligible for one scholarship at a time. The scholarships offer a total of 30% financial assistance of the program fee. To maintain the continuity of the scholarship, applicants need to score at least 7 CGPA in their university tests.

    Scholarship for Meritorious Girl Students: Eligibility Criteria

    Below is a list of detailed requirements for the scholarship program:

    • Students should score at least 60% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics, and optional subjects in their 12th class.

    • Candidates are required to pay the full program fee with a refundable fee deposit of INR 10,000 at the time of seat allotment. After availing the scholarship, the excess fee paid will be refunded within 3 months after completion.

    • Applicants must cover other expenses such as hostel, food, books, and others.

    • Female students should choose the engineering branch from the five engineering branches mentioned to get the scholarship.

    3. Freeship, Scholar and Achiever Scholarships for the B.Tech program

    These scholarships help meritorious students to be admitted to the B.Tech program. To be eligible, candidates must score at least 80% aggregate marks in their class 12th with Physics, Mathematics, and one optional subject. Candidates will be required to pay the first-year program fee, with a refundable deposit of INR 10,000. The students will get a refund of the excess fee within 3 months after the selection of students for the scholarship programme. The scholarship will be awarded to the top MET rank students who have completed the first round of B.Tech common counselling. To continue the scholarship, students must score a minimum of 8 CGA in their previous academic year. Below is a list of all three scholarship programs and the financial assistance provided by them:

    4. Merit Scholarship for B.Tech (Lateral Entry) Students: Eligibility Criteria

    MAHE awards meritorious scholarships to the B.Tech students who get admission through lateral entry. The programme offers a 75% scholarship for the course fee. Candidates must pay the required first-year fee, with a refundable deposit of INR 10,000. The excess fee paid will be refunded within 3 months after the scholarship selection by the institute. Candidates are required to submit the scholarship form 2026 within 1 month of the class commencement.

    Merit Scholarship for B.Tech (Lateral Entry) Students

    Students should check the eligibility requirements before applying for the scholarship application form:

    • Candidates must have completed their 3-year diploma in engineering with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.

    • The merit-based scholarship covers the entire program, starting from the second year, the admission year.

    • Students must have a Bonafide Certificate mentioning the time period of the Diploma issued by the college.
