Chitkara University - In 2010, the Chitkara University was established by the Punjab State Legislature under “The Chitkara University Act”.The university has the right to confer degrees as per the University Grant Commission Act, 1956. Chitkara University provides numerous possibilities to students, to go abroad on exchange programmes, and assists them to obtain global exposure. It is equidistant from most of the major cities like Chandigarh, Mohali, Ambala, Panchkula, and Patiala. The university offers UG, PG and Doctoral level degree programmes in fields like engineering, management, applied health sciences, design, etc.

Careers360. Tell us something about yourself such as from which place are you from?
Chetan Kandpal. I am Chetan Kandpal from Faridabad.
Careers360. Presently which course are you pursuing and in which year are you?
Chetan Kandpal. I am a 2nd year student pursuing Computer Science and Engineering in AI Chitkara University.
Careers360. Did you face any difficulty in the initial months when you joined the institute?
Chetan Kandpal. Not really though I saw competition but it was not insanely difficult
Careers360. What activities are offered in the institute? Are there any clubs etc for the various extracurricular activities? Which ones have you taken up and are a part of?
Chetan Kandpal. There are a lot of extra curricular activities. Sports , singing, dance, debating etc . Currently I am not enrolled in any activity

Chetan Kandpal. Attending lectures, playing badminton and in my free time hanging out with friends and at home, I do some given college work and then sleep.

Chetan Kandpal. Faculty is very understanding and friendly here , they are always there for you. We have all the major facilities here. I like the ambience of infrastructure the most
Careers360. What facilities do you have on campus? What do you like here the most which you feel is unique and differentiating?
Chetan Kandpal. We have all the major facilities here, food, sports infra, library, Ac rooms, studios, gym etc are available.
Careers360. How comfortable are your hostels and how about the cleanliness factor over there?
Chetan Kandpal. Yes I am a hosteller and yes facilities are upto the mark at the university.

Chetan Kandpal. There are a lot of club activities which help you follow your passions and connect with students from other streams
