JoSAA Eligibility Criteria 2024- JoSAA released the eligibility criteria for JoSAA 2024 registration on the official website, josaa.nic.in. Candidates can check the Joint Seat Allocation eligibility criteria 2024 online on the official website. JoSAA 2024 registration was conducted from June 10 to June 18, 2024. The eligibility criteria for JoSAA 2024 are different for JEE Main and JEE Advanced candidates. Students who wish to participate in the JoSAA counselling need to fulfil the Joint Allocation 2024 eligibility conditions.

The eligible candidates need to complete the JoSAA 2024 registration and choice filling to be eligible for the counselling. The JoSAA 2024 dates are released online. JoSAA 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to be familiar with the eligibility criteria for admission through JoSAA 2024 since it is different for each type of institute and some courses too. JoSAA Eligibility Criteria 2024 for JEE Main

  • Must have passed the Class XII (or equivalent) examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of either Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subjects as optional subjects.

  • As per JoSAA 75 per cent criteria, it is compulsory for general category candidates to have scored a minimum of 75% aggregate marks for admissions into NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. For reserved categories, the aggregate mark to be secured is 65%. However, if the candidates come under the top 20 percentile of their board, then they will also be eligible for admission.

  • The JEE Main cutoff 2024 should be met by the candidates. However, this does not guarantee admissions.

JoSAA Eligibility Criteria 2024 for JEE Advanced (Preparatory Courses at IITs)

The participating institutes also have their specific criteria, so the candidates are also advised to check them. Restrictions to the courses that the candidates are applying for should be checked. Details related to course restrictions that candidates must consider while applying for the admission process will be released by the authorities.

JoSAA Registration and Choice Filling 2024

The authorities conducted the JoSAA 2024 registration and choice filling online from June 10 to 18, 2024. All qualified IIT JEE Main and JEE Advanced candidates are allowed to register and fill out their choice of colleges and courses before the last date. The list of options will be displayed as per the eligibility of the candidates. Candidates will be able to log in using their JEE Mains 2024 registration number and JEE Main/Advanced password.

1. Who all are eligible for JoSAA Counselling?

JEE Main or JEE Advanced qualified candidates who meet the eligibility of JEE Main and JEE Advanced respectively will be eligible to register for JoSAA 2024 counselling.

2. Is there 75 criteria for JoSAA Counselling?

Yes, for JoSAA 2024 counselling of the general category, candidates have to secure a minimum of 75% aggregate marks. For reserved categories, the aggregate mark to be secured is 65%. However, if the candidates come under the top 20 percentile of their board, then they will also be eligible for admission.

3. Can I apply for JoSAA without clearing cutoff?
