BCECE 2018

BCECEBCECE 2018 is the entrance examination conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examinations Board (BCECEB) for admissions into the participating engineering colleges. The entrance examination will be held tentatively in the third week of June 2018. All candidates will have to register themselves online tentatively from the second week of February. Only the registered BCECE 2018 candidates will be able to download their admit card and appear for the examination. The entrance exam of BCECE 2018 will be held in two stages. The result, which will be announced online, will consist of the qualification status of the candidates. The qualified candidates will be called in for the counselling session of BCECE 2018 which will be held tentatively during the last week of July 2018. The Government of Bihar constituted the board under BCECE Act, 1995 for conduction of admissions into the engineering institutes of the state through BCECE examination. For the session of 2016, due to delay in admit card, the entrance examination was held in one stage. No confirmation has yet been provided whether the examination for the present session will be held in one or two stages.

BCECE Eligibility Criteria 2018

 

BCECE 2018 eligibility criteria consists of all the conditions that a candidate has to satisfy for admissions into the B.Tech courses offered by the participating institutes. The criteria will be related to the age, nationality and education of the candidate. Some of the eligibility criteria of BCECE 2018 for admissions is listed below. Inability to meet the criteria may lead to the disqualification of the candidate.

  • All candidates should be of Indian nationality.

  • 10+2 (or equivalent) examination should have been qualified by the candidates. Minimum 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category) should have been secured in the qualifying examination.

  • Those candidates who will be appearing for their qualifying examination in 2018 will also be eligible to apply.

  • Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology should have been studied by the candidates during their 10+2 standard.

  • There is no age restriction for the candidates. 

BCECE Application Form 2018

 

The application form of BCECE 2018 will be available in online mode. All candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria will have to register themselves tentatively from the second week of February 2018. The final date to submit the filled application form will be tentatively in the first week of March 2018. While filling the online BCECE 2018 application form, the candidates will have to make sure that all information is valid and according to their documents. The steps to fill the application form is given below:

 

Step 1 – Registration: The candidates will have to register themselves for the admission procedure. For registration, the candidates will have to submit their personal and contact details. The registration number will be generated after the candidates are successfully registered.

 

Step 2 – Payment of Application Fee: The required application fees has to be paid by the candidates through online (debit card/credit card/net banking) or offline mode (via bank challan). The candidates will be able to move forward in the application process only after successfully paying the application fee.

Step 3 – Filling of Personal Information and Uploading of Documents: Next, the candidates will have to fill their personal and communication details. After providing the required information, the candidates will have to upload scanned images of their photograph and signature.

 

Step 4 – Fill Academic Information: All of the academic information regarding the candidates will have to be filled and submitted by the candidates. Before submission, the candidates will be able to preview all of the information and edit it.

 

Step 5 – Submission of Application Form by Post – The print out of the filled application form has to be downloaded. A coloured photograph of the candidate has to be pasted in the specified space and the candidates will also have to sign at the designated place. The bank challan has to be attached along with the other required documents and sent to the following address through registered post/speed post:

How to Prepare for BCECE 2018

 

BCECE Exam Pattern 2018

 

The examination of BCECE 2018 will be held in two stages. All candidates will have to qualify both stages to participate in the counselling session. The exam pattern of BCECE 2018 provides the detailed information to the candidates regarding the question paper pattern, type of questions asked and marking scheme. BCECE Admit Card 2018

 

The registered candidates will be able to download their BCECE 2018 admit card tentatively in the first week of June 2018. To download the admit card, the candidates will have to log in using their registration number/user name and the password/date of birth. BCECE admit card 2018 will be available only in online mode. While reporting at the examination centre, all candidates will be required to bring their admit card. The candidates will not be allowed to appear for the examination if he/she fails to produce the admit card. The date and time of the examination along with the venue will be available in the released admit card. All candidates are requested to check their admit card before downloading. In case of any discrepancies, the candidates are requested to contact the admission authorities.

 

BCECE Answer Key 2018

 

The answer key of BCECE 2018 will consist of the correct responses to the questions asked in the entrance examination. By using the answer key, the candidates will be able to calculate their probable secured scores in the examination before the official declaration of result. Calculation of scores can be done by comparing their recorded responses with the correct answers. The official marking scheme has to be followed while calculating. BCECE 2018 answer key released by the coaching institutes will also be updated in this article as soon as it is released.

 

BCECE Cutoff 2018

 

The minimum scores or ranks required to qualify the entrance examination will be the cutoff of BCECE 2018. The cutoff is prepared to screen the admission process of BCECE 2018. All candidates will have to secure the cutoff ranks for admissions into the participating institutes. Many factors are considered while the cutoff is determined by the concerned authorities. The candidates will have to note that the cutoff for each course and institute will be different.

 

BCECE Result 2018

 

BCECEB will be announcing the result of BCECE 2018 tentatively in the second week of July 2018. The result of BCECE 2018 will consist of the category wise roll number of all the candidates who manage to qualify the entrance examination. The candidates will be able to access the result in PDF format. The admission committee may announce the result of the two stages of entrance examination separately. Only those candidates whose roll number is stated in the result will be able to participate in the counselling session.

 

BCECE Counselling 2018

 

All qualified candidates will have to register themselves for the counselling of BCECE 2018. During registration, the candidates will have to fill their preferred choice of colleges and courses. The selection of choices has to be done as per preference since this factor will also be taken into account during allotment of seats. The registered candidates will be allotted seats based on their merit, preferred choices and availability of seats during counselling. The allotted candidates will have to download and print out their Provisional Allotment Letter. As per the timings specified in the allotment letter, the candidates will have to report at the counselling venue for the handwriting verification. During the verification of handwriting, the authorities will check whether the handwriting of the present candidate is similar to that in the OMR sheet or not. Those candidates who are successful in the verification process will then have to verify their documents and confirm their admission.
