BCECE 2018 - Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examinations Board (BCECEB) will start the registration and choice filling for BCECE 2018 counselling from July 19 to 25 in online mode. The qualified candidates will be called in for the counselling session of BCECE 2018. Candidates can only fill their choices once. Authorities had released the rank card of BCECE 2018 in online mode on June 23. Earlier, merit list was released by the authorities on June 19. Candidates were able to download the merit list using the link given. The BCECE rank card could be downloaded after submitting their roll number. BCECE 2018 is conducted for admissions into the participating engineering colleges in Bihar. Registrations are now closed; last date to fill the application form of BCECE 2018 was April 2 (11.59 pm). Candidates could make corrections to the application form on April 8. The entrance examination of BCECE 2018 will be held on April 29, 2018 in only 1 stage. All qualified candidates will have to register themselves for the counselling of BCECE 2018 from July 19. During registration, the candidates will have to fill their preferred choice of colleges and courses. The selection of choices has to be done as per preference since this factor will also be taken into account during allotment of seats. The last date to register for the BCECE 2018 counselling is July 25. The registered candidates will be allotted seats based on their merit, preferred choices and availability of seats during counselling. The allotted candidates will have to download and print out their Provisional Allotment Letter. As per the timings specified in the allotment letter, the candidates will have to report at the counselling venue for the handwriting verification. During the verification of handwriting, the authorities will check whether the handwriting of the present candidate is similar to that in the OMR sheet or not. Those candidates who are successful in the verification process will then have to verify their documents and confirm their admission.

Candidates can now download their rank card from June 23. BCECEB has announced the result of BCECE 2018 on June 19, 2018 in the form of a merit list containing the roll numbers of the qualified candidates. The result of BCECE 2018 will consist of the category wise roll number of all the candidates who manage to qualify the entrance examination. The candidates will be able to access the result in PDF format. Only those candidates whose roll number is stated in the result will be able to participate in the counselling session.
The minimum scores or ranks required to qualify the entrance examination will be the cutoff of BCECE 2018. The cutoff is prepared to screen the admission process of BCECE 2018. All candidates will have to secure the cutoff ranks for admissions into the participating institutes. Many factors are considered while the cutoff is determined by the concerned authorities. The candidates will have to note that the cutoff for each course and institute will be different.
The registered candidates can now download their BCECE 2018 admit card. To download the admit card, the candidates will have to log in using their registration number and date of birth. Th admit card of BCECE 2018 is available only in online mode. While reporting at the examination centre, all candidates will be required to bring their admit card. The candidates will not be allowed to appear for the examination if he/ she fails to produce the admit card. The date and time of the examination along with the venue is available in the released admit card. All candidates are requested to check their admit card before downloading. In case of any discrepancies, the candidates are requested to contact the admission authorities.

The eligibility criteria of BCECE 2018 consists of all the conditions that a candidate has to satisfy for admissions into the B.Tech courses offered by the participating institutes. How to fill BCECE 2018 application form?
Candidates need to follow the steps given below to fill the application form of BCECE 2018.
Step 1 – Registration: The candidates will have to register themselves for the admission procedure. For registration, the candidates will have to submit their personal and contact details. The registration number will be generated after the candidates are successfully registered.
Step 2 – Filling of Personal Information: Next, the candidates will have to fill their personal and communication details. All of the details provided should be valid in nature.
Step 3 - Uploading of Documents: After providing the required information, the candidates will have to upload scanned images of their photograph and signature in the format prescribed.
Step 4 – Fill Academic Information: All of the academic information regarding the candidates will have to be filled and submitted by the candidates. Before submission, the candidates will be able to preview all of the information and edit it.
Step 5 – Preview of Filled Application Form: The candidates will be able to preview their filled application form and check for any mistakes.
Step 6 - Payment of Application Fee: The required application fees have to be paid by the candidates through online (debit card/ credit card/ net banking) or offline mode (via bank challan). The candidates will be able to move forward in the application process only after successfully paying the application fee.

Step 7 – Submission and Downloading of Application Form – The filled application form has to be downloaded in Part A and B and printed out.
