Careers360: Tell us about yourself, along with the programme and specialisation completed at Amity University.
Shrenikk Jain: I am a graduate of Amity University Noida, where I completed my B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). My time at Amity helped me build strong fundamentals in electronics and communication systems while gaining practical exposure through labs, projects, and interdisciplinary learning.
Careers360: How relevant was the curriculum to your current career or higher studies? Apart from academic knowledge, did the curriculum help you build industry-relevant skills?
Shrenikk Jain: The curriculum was highly relevant to my career path. It covered core areas such as digital electronics, communication systems, signal processing, embedded systems, and VLSI fundamentals, supported by hands-on labs and projects. Practical assignments, simulations, and hardware-based learning helped me develop analytical thinking, system-level understanding, and problem-solving skills aligned with industry expectations.
Careers360: On a scale of 1-5, how would you rate the quality of teaching and academic support? How approachable and supportive did you find the faculty?
Shrenikk Jain: I would rate it 4.5 out of 5. The faculty members were knowledgeable, approachable, and supportive. They encouraged conceptual clarity, practical application, and discussions beyond the syllabus, which helped strengthen my technical foundation.
Careers360: What specific learning experiences from Amity have you found most valuable for your professional life? Please elaborate.
Shrenikk Jain: Industry-oriented projects, electronics and communication labs, internships, technical presentations, and group work were extremely valuable. These experiences helped me understand real-world engineering challenges, improve technical confidence, and apply theoretical concepts to practical systems.

The disciplined academic approach, hands-on training, and mentorship at Amity helped me adapt, upskill, and navigate these challenges with confidence.
Careers360: How regularly do you connect with fellow Amity alumni, and what kind of support does the alumni network provide?
Shrenikk Jain: I stay connected with fellow Amity alumni through professional platforms and alumni networks. The alumni community is supportive and helps with career guidance, referrals, technical insights, and maintaining a strong connection with the university ecosystem.
Careers360: Are you part of any mentoring initiatives at present, and would you consider mentoring Amity University students in the future?
Shrenikk Jain: I strongly believe in mentoring and would be open to mentoring Amity students in the future. Sharing industry experiences and guidance can help students make informed career decisions and prepare better for professional challenges.
Careers360: How important do you think practical experience, industry-synced curriculum, and technological upskilling are, and what guidance would you share with current students?
Shrenikk Jain: They are extremely important, especially in a technology-driven field like electronics and communication. I would advise students to actively engage in internships, hardware projects, certifications, and emerging technologies alongside academics to stay industry-ready.
Careers360: What is the most valuable aspect of your experience as an Amity University graduate?
Shrenikk Jain: The most valuable aspect was the holistic learning environment. Amity helped me grow academically, professionally, and personally by offering structured learning, industry exposure, and opportunities beyond the classroom.
