AAI Recruitment through GATE 2016 – The Airport Authority of India (AAI) has announced the recruitment for Junior Executive through GATE 2016. The application for AAI recruitment through GATE 2016 has started on September 20. The application form of AAI recruitment through GATE 2016 is online. The last date to apply for the AAI recruitment through GATE is October 17, 2017. Graduates in Civil, Electrical or Electronics engineering are eligible to apply for the recruitment by AAI through GATE. Candidates who have valid GATE 2016 scores only are eligible to apply for the AAI recruitment through GATE. Candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 300 online (reserved category, female and PwD candidates are exempt). Candidates will be shortlisted and selected on the basis of their GATE 2016 scores. They will be required to report for document verification if shortlisted and for final selection. Eligibility Criteria for AAI Recruitment through GATE 2016
Only Indians can apply
Candidates must have passed a full time 4 years bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology
Candidates should have secured at least 6o% aggregate marks
Final year students
Age Limit as on September 30, 2017
The maximum age limit for the General category candidates is 27 years. The minimum age allowed is 18 years
Relaxation to different category candidates as per government guideline
OBC Candidates: Not more than 30 years.
SC/ST Candidate: Not more than 32 years.
Ex-servicemen: age relaxation as prescribed by Govt. of India orders issued from time-to-time.
J&K Candidates domiciled during the period 01.01.80 to 31.12.1989: not more than 32 years.
All candidates employed in Government/Semi- Government/Central/State Government Departments/Public Sector Undertakings are required to produce ‘No Objection Certificate’ from their employer during the interview if they are shortlisted.

Steps to fill the AAI Recruitment Application Form:
Step 1 - Sign Up:
Candidates must sign up to register first by entering the post
Next they should fill in their GATE Year, Paper, Registration Number, All India Rank (AIR), Score and Marks (out of 100)
They must then enter their name, a valid Email ID and mobile number
After successful registration, a user name and password generated by the system will be sent to the Email ID of the candidate
Step 2 – Log in (Click here to log in)
Candidates have to login by using the User ID and password sent to them via email. They have the option to change the password if they need to.
They must change the given password to one that is suitable to them.
After logging in, candidates should fill up their personal, academic and other details as required.
They must check the details before submitting the same
Step 3 - Uploading the photograph and signature
Candidates must upload their signature and photograph as instructed. The dimensions and specifications for the same are given above.
They must submit the form and wait for 24 hours to make the payment
Step 4 - Payment of the application fee
Candidates must wait for 24 hours after submission of the application form to make the payment
Female/ Pwd/ SC/ST candidates need not pay the fees and can directly go to the print option to print their application form.
The application fees are Rs 300 to be paid online through Internet Banking/Debit/Credit Card only from State Bank Collect System.
Candidates must note the 10 digit Transaction Reference Number starting with “DU” that is generated after payment for their future reference
Step 5 - Printout of the application form
Candidates must take a printout of the application form to be furnished if shortlisted.
Selection Process for AAI Recruitment through GATE 2016
Candidates who are shortlisted will be sent the call letter for document verification to their registered email ID.
They must report to AAI for document verification on the specified dates as mentioned on the call letters
Candidates must take a copy of the call letter and carry it for document verification.
Candidates must carry their Original Certificates along with a proof of identity and one set of self-attested photocopies of the Certificates.
After verification is complete, the selection will be finalized on the basis of a merit list prepared using the GATE 2016 marks of the candidates
Selected candidates will be sent appointment letters subject to verification of various original documents relating to Age, Qualifications, Caste & Medical fitness certificate.
Pay Scale for AAI Recruitment through GATE 2016:
Candidates will be paid a pay scale of Rs.16400-3%-40500 and appointed in E-1 grade.
The Emoluments paid will consist of Basic Pay, increment @ 3% of Basic Pay per annum, Dearness Allowance, Perks @ 46% of Basic Pay, HRA and Other benefits which includes CPF, Gratuity, Social Security Schemes, Medical Benefits, uniform allowance etc., as admissible as per AAI rules.
The Cost to Company per annum would be around Rs. 7.2 lakhs approximately
Note: The Pay package is due for revision as per DPE guidelines under the 3rd PRC .
Selected candidates for the post of Junior Executive (Electronics) will be required to execute a surety bond for an amount of Rs 5 lakhs to serve AAI for a period of three years after completion of training.
