Hey friend!
On the basis of your rank , category and home state . It is pretty difficult for you to get core branches like CSE ,ECE ,EE etc. But you want to go into government sector . You should take branches like ECE ,EE and Mechanical . These branches have most openings in PSU 's and especially ECE branch.

I have only 87.2% in 12th and very less score in jee mains can i get the admission only through 12th marks basis?
12th class marks aren't taken into consideration for councelling. It's just the jee mains rank or the jee advanced rank if you gave that exam. There is just a minimum percentage required in the 12th boards to be eligible to apply for the councelling
You can still predict the college you can get with your rank
