Yes of course you can apply for admission in M.Tech course offered by NITs on the basis of your GATE score even if you have active backlogs in any of your subjects but for this you have to submit the copy of any of the marksheet of your final year issued from the institution where you were pursuing your qualifying examination means your Bachelor's course.

Apart from this you should also satisfy the GATE eligibility criteria which is described below :-

** The candidate should be an Indian national even if they live in other countries then also they are eligible.

** Candidate must have passed graduation in engineering program or Master's in any relevant science subject and even if you are in your pre-final year then also you can apply for GATE.

Since you have not mentioned the category so considering it as General.

If we go through the analysis of previous year's GATE score Vs College allotment than according to the GATE 2021 score mentioned by you in the query you have very less or almost no chances of getting any of the IITs or NITs because their cut-offs are somewhere around 500-550 marks for General category so I would recommend you to go with some private colleges in states like Andhra Pradesh , Telangana and some others because some private colleges also accept admission on the basis of GATE score.

There are no such criteria regarding 12 that will lead you to not getting a PSU. You should be certain that you have >55% in graduation and a good gate score. If you satisfy these two you will have a good chance to get a job in PSU.

GATE was successfully conducted on February 6, 7, 13, and 14 at 616 centres in 200 cities in the country, by strictly adhering to the social distancing norms. The results of GATE 2021 has also been announced and the scorecard will remain valid for three years from the date of issue.
