Can I get BTech admission without entrance exams?
Yes, candidates who have completed their class 12 with the science stream can opt for a degree in BTech without JEE Main or any other entrance exam scores. Generally, some seats in private institutes are allotted on a merit basis, and the management tent quota is based on several factors determined by the colleges. However, some engineering colleges in India provide direct admission for BTech, and the colleges themselves decide the seat slots.
Direct BTech admission without entrance exam: Eligibility
Although JEE Main and JEE Advanced are mandatory entrance exams for BTech admission in IITs, IIITs, NITs and GFTIs, many private institutes offer seats without any entrance exam. students can apply directly to the Principal/ Director of the Institute, submitting the relevant documents. Candidates with a very good merit in the class 12th exams can also apply for admission based on their merit scores. However, after acquiring the eligibility terms and conditions from the college brochure or website, students should verify if they meet to proceed further with the BTech admissions. Manav Rachna University
Manav Rachna University offers admission to the B.Tech courses based on class 12 marks. The university also accepts the scores of the JEE Main and MRNAT for admission. What is BTech direct admission through Management Quota?
Many times, students who don't appear for entrance exams or have scored less and are unable to get a seat through regular channels can get direct BTech admission through management quota. Aspirants should note that the cost of Government Btech colleges, when they pass the entrance exams such as KCET, MHT-CET, WBJEE, etc., becomes very affordable. However, getting BTech admission through management quota requires students to pay a handsome amount of money to the BTech private college. But the number of seats is limited to 25-30% of the total intake.

Since you submitted the OBC-NCL certificate in place of OBC and used the state category certificate number in both JEE Mains sessions, but now you have the correct OBC-NCL certificate , you should be fine during JoSAA counseling if:

For all three of the JEE Mains 2025 exam's papers—Paper 1 (BE/BTech), Paper 2A (BArch), and Paper 2B (BPlan)—NTA has modified the format. Section B of the JEE Main test 2025 for Paper 1 will not have optional questions in accordance with the revised format. Each subject will only have five questions, and students are required to respond to all five. Likewise, the Mathematics portion of Papers 2A and 2B will not have any optional questions.
