AP ECET 2020 - Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University (JNTU) Anantpur will conduct AP ECET 2020 on April 30, 2020. Candidates will be able to access the online application form of AP ECET 2020 tentatively from the third week of February. The examination authorities will have prescribed certain eligibility criteria and only those candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria will be allowed to appear for AP ECET 2020. The detailed eligibility criteria for AP ECET 2020 is given below.
AP ECET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should be a citizen of India.
Candidates should belong to Andhra Pradesh and should satisfy all requirements of the local or non-local status.
Candidates should have a Diploma in Engineering and Technology/Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of Andhra Pradesh State or any other AICTE approved institution. Also, candidates should have scored at least 45% marks and 40% marks if candidates belong to the reserved category.
Candidate should have obtained a 3-year B.Sc Degree with Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects from a recognized Institution or its equivalent.
The authorities will release the online application form of AP ECET 2020 tentatively in the third week of February. Candidates will have to follow some steps to submit the online application form successfully.
Steps to fill the AP ECET 2020 Application Form
Fee Payment - Candidates will have to first make a fee payment of Rs. 579.50 (550+processing fee of Rs.29.50) for the online application form through debit cards, credit cards, or net banking. Payment can also be made through cash at the nearest AP online centres.
Know the payment status - Candidates should check the status of their payment which means if the payment was successful or not. To check the status, log into the account using the registration number and date of birth.
Fill the application form - After successful payment, candidates will have to fill the application form of AP ECET 2020 by entering all the required details.
Print out of the form - Finally, after submitting the application form successfully, candidates will have to take a print out of the submitted application form for future use.
AP ECET 2020 will be conducted approximately in 14 zones on April 30, 2020. Candidates will be able to select their preferred choice of centre while filling out the application form of AP ECET 2020. Details about the allotment exam centre of AP ECET 2020 will be present in the hall ticket.

All the candidates who will qualify the AP ECET 2020 will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. In order to qualify AP ECET 2020, candidates should score 50 marks out of the total 200. The first round of the AP ECET counselling 2020 will be conducted tentatively in the second week of June to the third week of June. Candidates should reach for the counselling on the scheduled date and time.
Candidates will have to first register to participate in the counselling and seat allotment of AP ECET 2020 by making a payment of processing fee.
After successful registration, verification of documents will be done at the help line centres.
After document verification, candidates will have to log in to the account to fill the choices of institutions and programs as per preference.
Next, the authorities will release the seat allotment list which will be prepared on the basis of category, merit list, availability of seats and preference.
Finally, all the allotted candidates will have to pay the rest of the admission fee at the allotted college.

APECET exams have different papers for different sections i.e. For engineering, pharmacy and B.Sc (Mathematics).
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are asked in the common section of the paper and the last section is for the specific engineering field. There will be 3 papers having 200 MCQ's each of 1 mark.( No negative marking). Marks are distributed per paper as 25 marks for physics and chemistry, 50 marks in maths and 100 marks in the engineering section. The minimum passing marks for General category is 25%. And for SC and ST there is no minimum qualifying marking scheme.
For admission in Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur, they take in students having a cut off rank in different branches.
However, your rank depends on the number of students answering and also the number of students qualifying.
But keep in mind its important that you score 110/200 to keep your rank above 10000.
