OJEE Counselling 2019 - Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board (OJEEB) has announced the second seat allotment result of OJEE 2019. The registration and choice filling of OJEE 2019 counselling for JEE Main qualified candidates has ended on June 30, 2019. Choice filling for Special OJEE 2019 qualified candidates will start from July 26. Candidates who wish to take admission in the participating institute will have to either qualify JEE Main entrance examination or take special OJEE 2019 test in order to participate in counselling of OJEE 2019. Candidates applying must have qualified JEE Main entrance examination to be eligible for the admission process. Non-JEE Main qualified candidates had to attempt special OJEE test to participate in counselling of OJEE 2019. For candidates to participate in OJEE Counselling 2019, candidates had to register first and then select their preferred choices where they would like to get admission. After the registration, candidates had to get their documents verified at nearest OJEE nodal centres. Candidates are allotted seats upon successful document verification. Thus, candidates are advised to come along with all required documents and a set of photocopies for the document verification process. Candidates are allotted seats in preferred college and course depending on the availability of seats, merit and preferred choices. OJEE 2019 Counselling

The admission authorities of the examination is conducting counselling of OJEE 2019. Candidates participating in OJEE Counselling 2019 should have qualified JEE Main 2019 and must carry a valid score to be eligible for participation in the counselling process. During counselling of OJEE 2019, candidates had to register first and then fill their preferred choices in order of preference. Candidates had to download their seat allotment letter and visit nodal centres for the document verification process. After successful document verification, candidates are allotted seats on the basis of preferred choices entered, availability of seats and merit list. Candidates will have to pay the admission pay to confirm their allotted seats.

Steps Involved in OJEE Counselling 2019

Step 1 - Registration

Firstly, candidates had to register where they had to select their preferred course and enter JEE Main 2019 application number and date of birth. Thereafter, candidates had to provide details regarding address, mobile number, bank details, etc. and password was generated. In case, candidates had entered wrong details, it was easier for them to correct or modify the details. Candidates were then advised to take a printout of their registration form and pay counselling fee amounting Rs. 450/- through online mode (Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking) or through offline mode (E-Challan).

Step 2 - Choice Filling and Locking

Candidates had to lock their entered choices entered in order of their preference. Candidates were able to select their preferred college from the list of college offering admission through OJEE 2019. Candidates in this step were able to add, edit, delete, swap and move their entered choices of college or course. It was advised that candidates had to select the maximum number of choices to increase the probability of getting admission in preferred college and course through counselling process. Candidates had to check details after activating “Choice Lock” facility. After selecting Lock option, an OTP was received to registered mobile number which had to be verified to get choices locked. Thereafter, take a printout of locked choices for later use.

Step 3 - Temporary Seat Allotment

The admission authority has released temporary first and second round seat allotment for JEE Main qualified candidate. Two rounds of temporary seat allotment is being conducted by the admission authority. Candidates are also informed regarding the temporary allotment of the seat through SMS or email.

Step 4 - Reporting at Nodal Centre for Admission Fee Payment

Candidates will have to report to Nodal centres for document verification process along with a challan on any SBI or Axis Bank Branch of Rs. 25,000 as admission fee. Candidates can even make their payment of application fee in an online mode through Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking. Candidates who wish to withdraw from allowed to withdraw within the time specified after which no cancellation of will be entertained.

Step 5 - Verification of Documents at Nodal Centres

All candidates who have been allotted seats will have to report to nearest nodal centres for the document verification process. For the document verification process, candidates are required to bring along all documents along with a set of photo copies. Domicile candidates will have to submit any one of the following documents:

  • Resident/Nativity Certificate in original from concerned Revenue Officer not below the Tahsildar

  • Certificate of Employment of candidate’s parent. Employer: Govt of Odisha/Govt. Of India/Govt. Of India undertakings/Govt. Of Odisha undertakings located in Odisha at the time of application in original

  • Qualifying examination pass certificate from Odisha in original and self-attested photocopy

List of Documents to be submitted for Verification

  • JEE Main 2019 Result

  • Online registration slip of OJEE 2018 counselling

  • Payment Slip

  • Class 10th certificate or any other document showing the candidate’s date of birth

  • Class 12th standard mark sheet and pass certificate

  • Resident/Nativity Certificate in original from concerned Revenue Officer not below the Tahsildar.

  • Original SC/ST/ Certificate by birth state of Odisha

  • Income Certificate for TFW candidates

  • Green Card issued by the Family Welfare Department of Govt. Of Odisha

  • Ex-Serviceman candidates to apply at Rajya Sainik Board and verify whether their name is recommended or not.

  • Original Certificate in support of Outlying Odia Speaking Tract category

  • Certificate in support of NRI

  • Medical Certificate from SCB Medical College by PC candidates

  • Certificate of Employment of candidate’s parent. Employer: Govt of Odisha/Govt. Of India/Govt. Of India undertakings/Govt. Of Odisha undertakings located in Odisha at the time of application.

  • Qualifying exam pass certificate from Odisha

Step 6 - Final Seat Allotment

Candidates who were allotted seats temporary seat allotment process will get their final allotment on July 22. Newly registered candidates will also receive their final allotment letter. Candidates allotted seats will be informed through SMS on their registered mobile number and letter must be downloaded from the website after logging.

Step 7 - Reporting at Allotted Institute

Candidates will have to report to allotted institute after downloading their final allotment letter. Candidates will have to pay the balance fees after successfully completing all admission related formalities. After the allotment of seats, a registration card will be generated for the candidates participating in the counselling process.

Follow these steps :

Reset Password through Security Question
  • Visit the JEE Main official website - jeemain.nic.in
  • Click on Reset Password option
  • Answer the security question opted at the time of filling the application form.
  • Now enter the Verification Code that is sent on your Registered Mobile Number
  • Now Reset the Password and Login.

Yes you can. As spot round is a completely new process which does not relates to registration processes held earlier for the college. You can now fill the form for spot admissions as a fresh candidate . I wish the best for you in that spot participation.

I have lost my green card . what can i do in replacement for ojee councelling

Hey!

There is 5% reservation for Green Card holders in Odisha joint entrance examination counselling so in case you do not have the Green Card you are not eligible for getting  seat under the reservation for Green Card holders .you can get a seat under no reservation . Because green card is the only proof of you being a green card holder.

What does Ojee registration slip means? I cannot find any such slip in my login Id except allotment letter

Login to the offical website of OJEE Board. Go into my application there you will find your OJEE registration slip. Download it and keep it safely for future use.
