OJEE Counselling 2017 - The Odisha JEE board has declared the seat allotment result of special OJEE 2017 on August 13. Earlier, the registration and choice filling of qualified candidates for OJEE 2017 Counselling (special round) was available on August 12. Candidates who had qualified in the special OJEE test held on August 10 were eligible to apply for the same. The final round of OJEE 2017 seat allotment based on JEE Main 2017 scores was announced on July 23. The counselling was web-based and was held in two phases - phase 1 being on the basis of the JEE Main 2017 scores of the candidatesand phase 2 being on the scores obatined by candidates in the special round. Candidates must register and fill their choices of the courses and colleges. For the first round, registered candidates who had paid the counselling had to visit the assigned nodal centre in person for document verification while for the second round, candidates will have to report to the allotted college for document verification and pay the admission fees. Candidates were required to pay the admission fee (part) along with the university fee at the nodal centres to confirm their admissions in the first round. After considering the withdrawals and non-reporting candidates during the counselling of OJEE, the final seat allotment (round 1) was announced. Candidates had to take printouts of their final allotment letter and report at the assigned institute/colleges. Note for OL Category - Document Verification and Odia Test for OL Category Candidates:
Candidates with JEE MAIN 2017 rank card who belong to OL category (Odiyas belonging to outlying Odisha) speaking tracts and are interested to take part in OJEE 2017 counselling had to attend document verification/odia test at Nodal centre JEE cell, Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar on June 26 and 27, 2017.
Physically Challenged (PC) category candidates of OJEE/JEE Main 2017 rank holders were required to attend the Medical Board at LT-II SCB Medical College, Cuttack from June 22 to June 24 at 10 am. These candidates had to carry their Admit Card, Photo ID and Rank Card to the venue. Admission to PC category was done as per the final decision of this Medical Board Verification which will be binding.

Procedure of OJEE Counselling for Special Round:
Candidates have to register and fill their choices of courses and college on August 12, 2017
They must get the documents verified only after the seat allotment is announced on August 13, 2017
They must login and download their allotment letter and report to the colleges to get their document verified.
Thereafter they must pay the admissio fees as specified to confirm their admissions
Classes commence from August 15, 2017
Procedure of OJEE Counselling 2017
Steps of OJEE 2017 Counselling:
1. Registration: To participate in counselling of OJEE 2017, candidates had to register first. The candidates had to apply for fresh registration and enter their details including their JEE Main 2017 roll number as well as their date of birth. Candidates had to enter their personal details along with their bank details, mobile number and address details. They also had to fill any additional information asked. The candidates were required to choose and enter a password of their choice. The password should be 8-13 characters length and must contain at least one capital letter [A-Z], one small letter [a-z], one Numeric Character [0-9] and one special character.
They had to take a printout of the application after submission and proceed to pay the fees. Click here to register
Payment registration and counselling fee: Candidates had to pay a non-refundable counselling fee of Rs. 450 by Debit card/ Credit card/ Net banking OR through SBI Challan
2. Document verification at the Nodal centres:
Candidates had to report to the specified nodal centres which were located close to them and report for document verification. They had to carry the original documents specified below along with a set of self-attested photocopies of the same. After verification, they had to take back their originals and submit the photocopies at the nodal centre.
Documents that have to be carried for verification:
For the State Domicile candidates, any one of the following was mandatory. However, candidates were advised to carry all documents as applicable.
Mandatory Domicile Proof documents:
Resident/ Nativity Certificate (Appendix-I) in original from concerned Revenue Officer not below than Tahsildar.
Certificate of Employment of candidateâ€™s Parent / Spouse (Appendix- II). Employer : Govt. of Odisha / Govt. of India / Govt. of India undertakings / Govt. of Odisha undertakings located in Odisha at the time of application in original
Qualifying Examination Pass Certificate from Odisha in original and self-attested Photocopy
Other documents are:

OJEE 2017 Online/offline payment slip.
Proof of date of birth - HSC or any other relevant certificate showing the date of birth
Marks Sheet for 10 + 2 Mark Sheet
Pass certificate of 10+2 or equivalent
Original SC/ST certificate by birth state of Odisha if applicable
Income Certificate for TFW candidates for 2017 if applicable
Green Card issued by Family Welfare Department of Govt. Of Odisha if applicable
Original certificate of Ex-Serviceman from Rajya Sainik Board if applicable
Original Certificate in support of Outlying Odia Speaking Tract (OL) category if applicable
Medical Certificate for PC Candidates if applicable
Qualifying Examination Pass Certificate from Odisha.
Women candidates must also submit the Resident/Nativity Certificate from concerned Revenue Officer not below than Tahsildar if applying for reservation
Candidates had to take note of the checklist that is given at the end of the brochure to ensure they donâ€™t forget any document for verification. Candidates had to get their documents verified and also show the proof of counselling fee payment
- Candidates had to log in and fill their choices as per their preference.
- There was no limit on the number of choices to be filled so candidates were advised to fill the maximum number of choices they can do so.
- After filling their choices, the candidates had to save them and lock the same.
- The candidates had to take a printout of their filled in choices
Temporary allotment of seat: After successful verification of the documents, candidates had to log in and check the temporary seat allotment that has been announced. Candidates were also be sent an SMS for Candidates need not take the printouts of the seat allotment as the final ones may vary on account of withdrawal or absence of candidates from reporting for document verification.
Reporting to the Nodal centre for payment of Admission Fees
Candidates must go to the nodal centre after paying the admission fee of Rs 10,000 (for General Category) and Rs. 5,000 for SC/ST/PC candidates. The fee is part admission fee and University registration fee payable through E-challan of SBI or Axis bank.
Candidates must download the E-challan and pay the amount, get the challan duly stamped.
They must furnish the copy of the Institute and get the same verified along with the requisite specified documents.
Final Seat Allotment: The final seat allotment be announced after consideration of all withdrawals and upgradations. An auto-upgradation process will take place and the final allotment will be announced thereafter. Candidates must log in and download their allotment letter to know the seat details and college details for reporting.
Reporting to the allotted college: Candidates must download their final seat allotment letter and report to the allotted institutes and colleges on the specified dates and time. They must complete their admission formalities and receive the registration card from the respective colleges/ universities to which they are admitted to. They must pay the balance admission fees.
