OJEE Counselling 2018

OJEE CounsellingOJEE Counselling 2018 – Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Board (OJEEB) is conducting OJEE 2018 counselling session for B.Tech admissions into the participating institutes. The candidates need to be JEE Main qualified to be eligible for counselling of OJEE 2018. Non-JEE qualified candidates will have to attempt the special OJEE 2018 test to be eligible for counselling. Eligible candidates will now able to register themselves for OJEE counselling 2018 till June 27. Selection of college and course choices has to be done according to the candidates’ preference. Registered candidates will have to visit their nearest nodal centres for verification of documents. The temporary seat allotment of OJEE 2018 will be done as per the candidates’ merit and preference. OJEE Counselling 2018

The counselling of OJEE 2018 is conducted by the official authorities. All of the candidates should have qualified JEE Main 2018 examination with valid scores to be eligible for the counselling session. The given procedure has to be followed by the candidates for OJEE 2018 counselling.

 

OJEE 2018 Counselling Procedure

The following steps provide the candidates with detailed information about the counselling procedure of OJEE 2018. The candidates will have to complete the entire procedure to successfully get admission in the courses and college offered through OJEE counselling 2018.

 

Registration

Registrations for the counselling session is now open. All of the qualified candidates have to register for the counselling of OJEE 2018. In the first step, the candidates have to select their course and submit their JEE Main 2018 roll number and date of birth. The data earlier submitted by the candidates is available after logging in. The candidates have to enter additional information such as address, mobile number, bank details. The password has to be generated by the candidates. If any information is wrong, the candidates can correct or edit it in the application form. A print out of the Registration Slip has to be taken by the candidates. Next, the candidates will have to pay the counselling fee through online (debit card/credit card/net banking) or through SBI Challan.

Verification of Documents at Nodal Centres

All of the registered candidates will have to report at their nearest Nodal Centres for verification of documents. Both the original documents and their photocopies have to be brought to the centre. The original documents will be verified and the photocopies have to be submitted. Domicile candidates will be required to submit any one of the following documents:

  • Resident/Nativity Certificate in original from concerned Revenue Officer not below the Tahsildar.

  • Certificate of Employment of candidate’s parent. Employer: Govt of Odisha/Govt. Of India/Govt. Of India undertakings/Govt. Of Odisha undertakings located in Odisha at the time of application in original.

  • Qualifying examination pass certificate from Odisha in original and self-attested photocopy.

List of Documents to be submitted for Verification

  • JEE Main 2018 Result

  • Online registration slip of OJEE 2018 counselling

  • Payment Slip

  • 10th standard certificate or any other document showing the candidate’s date of birth

  • 10+2th standard mark sheet and pass certificate

  • Resident/Nativity Certificate in original from concerned Revenue Officer not below the Tahsildar.

  • Original SC/ST/ Certificate by birth state of Odisha

  • Income Certificate for TFW candidates

  • Green Card issued by Family Welfare Department of Govt. Of Odisha

  • Ex-Serviceman candidates to apply at Rajya Sainik Board and verify whether their name is recommended or not.

  • Original Certificate in support of Outlying Odia Speaking Tract category

  • Certificate in support of NRI

  • Medical Certificate from SCB Medical College by PC candidates  

  • Certificate of Employment of candidate’s parent. Employer: Govt of Odisha/Govt. Of India/Govt. Of India undertakings/Govt. Of Odisha undertakings located in Odisha at the time of application.

  • Qualifying exam pass certificate from Odisha

 

Choice Filling and Locking

The candidates will be required to fill and lock their preferred choices of college and courses for OJEE 2018 counselling. Selection can be done from the list of colleges offering admission. The candidates will be able to add, delete, swap and move their choices of colleges and courses. There is no limit to the number of choices, therefore, the candidates are advised to select as many as possible in order of preference. After the choice locking facility is activated, the candidates will have to recheck their filled choices for any correction. Click on “Lock” button and an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number of the candidates. After submitting the OTP, the choices will get locked. A print out of the locked choices has to be taken out of the candidates’ reference.

 

Temporary Seat Allotment

The result of temporary seat allotment will be released online on July 2 and 14, 2018. Two rounds of temporary seat allotment will be conducted by the official authorities. The candidates will also be informed about the temporary seat allotment of OJEE counselling 2018 through SMS to the registered mobile number. Based on the temporary seat allotment, the candidates are advised not to report at the allotted institute as it is not the final one.

 

Reporting at Nodal Centre for Admission Fee Payment

Before reporting at the nodal centre, the candidates will have to pay the admission fee of Rs. 25,000 through challan on any SBI or Axis bank branch. Payment can also be done through online mode (debit card/credit card/net banking). If any candidate wishes to withdraw, they will be provided with enough time to decide and the admission fee will be refunded to them.

 

Final Seat Allotment

Those candidates who were allotted during the temporary seat allotment process will get their final allotment on July 23, 2018. Newly allotted candidates will also get their final allotment. The candidates will also be informed about the final seat allotment through SMS on their registered mobile number. The final allotment letter has to be downloaded by the candidates.

 

Reporting at Allotted Institute

After downloading and printing out the final allotment letter, the candidates will have to report at their allotted institute. The admission formalities have to be successfully completed by the candidates by paying the balance fees. A registration card will be generated for the candidates after they are allotted into the institute.
