Candidates can check their KCET results 2026 only in online mode through the result portal. How is KCET Rank Calculated?

KEA calculates the KCET 2026 rank based on marks obtained by candidates in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects in KCET 2026 and the marks obtained by candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in the Qualifying Examination, taken in equal proportions.

KEA KCET Passing Marks 2026

As per the KCET brochure, the minimum passing marks for all Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates shall be 12 out of 50 marks in the Kannada Language Examination conducted by KEA to be considered for assignment of ranks and to become eligible for allotment of seats in CET. (The Kannada Language Test paper will be of 4th Standard Level).

Previous Year KCET Result Highlights

• As per KCET result analysis, more girls appeared for the Karnataka CET exam as compared to boys. Several girls and boys appeared at 1,29,780 and 1,14,565 respectively.
• The total number of candidates who appeared only for PCM was 43,316, while for only PCB, 3,917 students took the KCET test. However, the number of candidates who appeared for both (PCM and PCB) were 1,96,112.
• Around 2,03,381 students appeared for the KCET engineering exam.
• In 2023, Bengaluru's Vignesh Nataraj Kumar has topped the KCET exam with 97.8%.
