The HPTSB Dharamshala conducts the Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Admission Test commonly known as HP PAT every year for admissions to various Affiliated Polytechnic institutes of Himachal Pradesh approved by the All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) and registered ITIs which are approved by the National Council for Vocational Training(NCVT) & State Council for Vocational Training(SCVT).
Candidates who will complete the registration process will be issued HP PAT 2024 admit card . The hall ticket of HP PAT 2024 is an important document without which aspirants will not be allowed to appear for the entrance exam.
The result of HP PAT 2024 will be declared on May 28, 2024. Candidates who will qualify for HP PAT 2024 will be provided admission in various Diploma Courses in Engineering, Pharmacy, and other fields. This entrance examination is conducted at the state level.

Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala has released the eligibility criteria of HP PAT 2024 in the detailed information brochure of the entrance examination. The candidates are required to adhere to the HP PAT 2024 eligibility criteria else they will not be eligible to get admission in polytechnic courses.
The HP PAT eligibility criteria 2024 consists of details like the minimum educational qualification of the candidate, age limits, minimum marks required in entrance examination, etc. If any candidate will be found ineligible at any point of admission he/she will not be given admission to the institutes.
Candidates must have passed class 10th with minimum 35% marks in aggregate from any recognized board.

Candidates who will be declared passed in the PAT examination will be called for the counselling of HP PAT 2024. The board will release the HP PAT counselling 2024 schedule on the official website. You cannot apply for the second round of HP PAT counselling now as the dates for submission of new application or revision of choices based on vacant seats was from August 29 to September 2, 2021. Yesterday was the last date for the submissions. The authorities will not conduct the HP PAT 2021 examination. The admission to diploma courses will be done on the basis of merit of marks secured in the minimum educational qualification prescribed by AICTE for the session 2021-22. You can attend the 3rd round of counselling from September 12 to 15, 2021.

Yes of course you can fill out the application form for Himachal Pradesh Polytechnic Admission Test because as per the eligibility criteria for HP PAT 2021 :-
The applicant should have passed Class 10th with minimum of 35% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. If you are appearing for the qualifying exam in 2021 then also you can apply, but your eligibility will be checked at the time of counselling.
But there is a condition if you are of any reserved category then you will not get the reservation benefit because through HP PAT only the bonafide state residents will get reservation benefits, so you can apply under Unreserved category.
