During the admission process for REAP 2026 Rajasthan Engineering courses, eligible candidates are considered for admission. However, priority norms are also taken into account when preparing the Merit list of REAP 2026, which determines the allotment of seats. The priority order is as follows:
First preference- candidates with a valid score in class 12 (with a science background),
Later preference- candidates with a valid score in the state government-approved Diploma in Engineering & Technology.
In cases where multiple candidates have the same score in the REAP 2026 exam, a tie-breaker is used. The order of factors considered for class 12 pass-outs in the merit list is as follows:
1. Marks in Mathematics (class 12) - higher scores are preferred.
2. Marks in Physics (class 12) - higher scores are preferred.
3. Date of birth - older candidates are given a higher rank.
4. Application form number - candidates who applied earlier are given a higher rank.
For candidates with a diploma in engineering:
1. Date of birth - older candidates are given a higher rank.
2. REAP application form number 2026- the candidate who applied earlier is given a higher rank.
The allocation of seats for REAP 2026 is determined by a computer system that takes into account the candidate's rank in the merit list, their preferred choices, and the availability of seats.
The allotment is based on merit and the choices made by the candidates themselves.
Candidates who are allotted seats are advised to download their seat allotment letter from the portal, as no letters will be mailed to them.
To confirm their seats, candidates must report to the allotted institute within the given time frame.
