REAP Counselling and Seat Allotment 2020 - Centre for Electronic Governance (CEG) will conduct the counselling and seat allotment of REAP 2020. The authorities will conduct three main rounds of counselling and a special round. The process of REAP counselling 2020 will be conducted separately for Rajasthan candidates and outside Rajasthan candidates. The results of the subsequent rounds of seat allotment will be declared online. Candidates will have to login to check their result. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) and JEE Main will be eligible to attend the counselling. Candidates belonging to Rajasthan will have an advantage of getting their allotted seats upgraded. The seats will be alloted on the basis of rank secured in the merit list and based on choices entered at the time of REAP 2020 counselling. To confirm the allotted seats candidates will have to make the payment of admission fees and then report to allotted college. REAP Counselling Procedure 2020

Candidates having their names shortlisted in the merit list of REAP 2020 will be eligible for the online counselling. The procedure of counselling will be conducted separately for the candidates belonging to Rajasthan and other candidates. The detailed procedure of REAP 2020 counselling is mentioned below:

Step 1- Registration -

  • Candidates will first have to pay the registration fee which will be non refundable. Last year the amount was Rs 700. The payment has to be made online. Candidates must keep the transaction number generated safe for future reference.

  • After fee payment, candidates will have to enter their email id and mobile number, and other necessary personal, educational, category, and communication details.

  • They must then upload the Photograph and signature in the prescribed format.

  • After making sure the REAP counselling form 2020 is completed in all respects, candidates must submit it.

  • Upon successful registration, candidates will receive the login details in their registered email id and mobile number.

Step 2 – Option/ Choice Filling

  • Candidates, after making the advance payment will be able to exercise choice filling They must enter the choices in the order of preference.

  • Candidates will have to submit the choices made. It must be noted that they will not be allowed to make any changes in the option form after submission.

Note: If the candidate does not exercise choice filling, choices will automatically get locked and submitted on the last date of submission.

Key points related to REAP Counselling 2020

  • During the counselling process, candidates will have to first register, enter the order of preference and documents must be verified. It must be noted that choices entered can be modified, deleted, changed or added until the last date of registration for counselling of REAP 2020

  • Candidates are advised to enter maximum possible choices to increase their chances of seat allotment.

  • Candidates must carry along their original documents as well as a set of photocopies for the document verification process.

REAP Seat Allotment 2020

  • A computer software will decide the seat allotment of REAP 2020 which will allocate seats on the basis of rank secured in merit list, preferred choices entered and availability of seats.

  • The seat allotment will be done on the basis of merit and choices entered by the candidate.

  • After getting the seat allotted, candidates are advised to download their seat allotment letter from the portal since no letter will be mailed through post or courier.

  • Candidates allotted seats will have to report at the allotted institute within scheduled duration to confirm their seats.

  • Candidates will have to carry all their original as well as photocopies of all required documents which are mentioned below.

  • Receipt of e-payment

  • Total Fees to be deposited

  • Color photograph

  • High school certificate as proof of date of birth

  • Class XII marksheet

  • Consolidated Grade/Mark sheet of qualifying examination

  • Report online to the allotted institute

  • Report along with a set of photocopy of the requisite documents as well as the original documents

  • Deposit remaining fee after deducting advance at first reporting institute

  • Submit the original documents at the first reporting institute

  • Exercise the option of upward movement or withdrawal

  • Aadhaar card is mandatory

Stage 3- Second round of REAP Seat Allotment for candidates belonging to Rajasthan

  • Download allotment letter after login

  • Report online to the allotted institute

  • Report along with a set of photocopy of the requisite documents as well as the original documents

  • Deposit remaining fee after deducting advance

  • Submit the original documents at the first reporting institute

  • Exercise the option of upward movement or withdrawal

  • Aadhaar card is mandatory

Stage 4 –Upward Movement for candidates with Rajasthan Domicile


  • Candidates who are allotted higher preference will have to report to the new allotted institute

  • Such candidates will have to submit the original documents and a self- attested copy of these documents

  • Aadhaar card is compulsory

  • Candidates have the option to exercise the withdrawal option in an online mode

Special Round/ Spot round for candidates who are domicile of Rajasthan and Out of Rajasthan Candidates

Stage 4- Special Round


  • Candidates who had registered earlier and had not paid the advance fee will be able to join the spot round and fill the choice form

  • Candidates who had registered earlier and were allotted seat, they have the option to withdraw from the last reported institute

  • Such candidates will have the option to make change in the choices

  • Candidates who had registered earlier in the main round and were not allotted seat due to exhaustion, they will have to give their approval to join the spot round. They will not have to pay any fee and they can change their options

  • Candidates who had registered previously and were allotted seats but did not join the allotted institute, they could participate in the spot round by paying the advance fee. They will have the option to make changes in the choices

  • Candidates who had registered earlier and were allotted a seat, they can join the spot round by withdrawing their admission online. Such candidates can make changes in their choice.

  • Candidates who have not registered previously, they will have to register themselves by paying a non-refundable fee and online fee. Such candidates have the option to fill their choice before the notified date.

REAP 2020 Seat Allotment Withdrawal Procedure

  • Candidates wishing to withdraw from the process of seat allotment of REAP 2020 will be required to report to the allotted institute

  • Candidates must surrender their allotment and application form before the third round of counselling concludes

  • After that, fees will be refunded to candidates only if they withdraw before the last date as per the scheduled dates

  • A certain amount will be deducted as processing fees and administrative fees if a candidate is withdrawing from seat allotment process

Cancellation of allotted seat if requisite conditions are not met

  • The candidature will stand cancelled if any candidate fails to meet the requisite academic qualification.

  • If a candidate is unable to produce category documents, the cancellation of seat. However, candidates will still be eligible to participate in other rounds of counselling

REAP 2020 Merit List - Tie Breaker

  • Candidates who have secured higher marks in Mathematics will be placed higher in merit list

  • If marks in Mathematics are equal then candidates with higher marks in Physics will be considered

  • If all parameters are same then candidates will be placed according to randomization

  • On allotment of seats on the basis of JEE Main 2020 score, seats that remain will be filled on the basis of Class 12th percentile merit and choice entered by them

Physical Reporting and Admission

Candidates allotted seats will be required to report to the allotted institute to confirm their allotted seats. Candidates must report with all required documents and fees. Candidates failing to report within scheduled time and with all required documents will not be considered for admission.

Cancellation and Refund

Candidates allotted seats in participating colleges will have to pay a non-refundable amount to participate in counselling process. If at any point during counselling, a candidate seeks the refund of fees by withdrawing the allotted seat, such candidates will have to report in person at the allotted institute and must request for withdrawal before the last date.
