JELET 2020- West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will conduct JELET 2020 tentatively in the third week of July 2020. JELET 2020 is a pen-paper based examination for admission to 2nd year Engineering, Technology and Pharmacy courses in participating universities, government colleges as well as self financing engineering and technological institutes in the state of West Bengal. Candidates will be able to access the application form of JELET 2020 in online mode through the official website. The admit card of JELET 2020 will be available on the official website and candidates will have to compulsorily carry their admit cards to the exam centres. JELET result 2020 will be released in the form of rank cards of candidates who participated in the entrance exam. The authorities will prepare a merit list on the basis of results of students who appeared for the entrance test. JELET Eligibility Criteria 2020

Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of JELET 2020 before filling out the application form. It should be noted that final allotment is done only after verifying the eligibility of the candidates. Thus, candidates need to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria of JELET 2020 in order to be considered for seat allotment. Diploma holders

  • Candidates must hold a Diploma in Engineering/ Technology with a minimum of 45% marks (SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, and PwD candidates need 40%) or equivalent CGPA.

  • All prescribed norms of D.G. Shipping will be applicable for admission into Marine Engineering

B. Sc. candidates

  • Candidates must have B.Sc degree with a minimum of 45% marks

  • Also, candidates must have passed the 12th exam with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

  • B.Sc candidates will be considered for admission only if there are vacant seats left after filling seats with Diploma holders.

Eligibility Criteria for admission to Degree Course in Pharmacy

Candidates must have passed Diploma in Pharmacy with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent CGPA. However, the minimum percentage for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, and PwD candidates is 40%.

JELET Application Form 2020

The authorities will release the application form of JELET 2020 tentatively in the last week of March. Candidates will be able to access JELET 2020 application form in online mode. The procedure of filling the application form will include steps like Registration, Filling of application form, uploading of images, payment of fee and downloading of confirmation page. Candidates can refer the given steps to fill the application form of JELET 2020.

Steps to Fill JELET 2020 Application Form

Step 1: Registration- In the first step, candidates will have to enter basic details like name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, email Id, etc. After entering the details, candidates will have to set a password and choose a security question in order to complete registration. Once the registration is completed, candidates will receive an Application number on their registered mobile number and email Id. Candidates are advised to keep it safely for future reference.

Step 2: Filling of Application Form- After registration, candidates will have to login to their account using application number & password and enter all the other required details like domicile, category, PwD status, home, district, family income status, religion, nationality, etc. Candidates will also have to choose two zones of examination while filling the details.

Step 3: Uploading of Images- After entering all the details, candidates will have to upload the scanned images of Photograph and signature as per the specifications prescribed by the authorities.

Step 4: Payment of Fee- In the next step, candidates will have to pay the application fee of JELET 2020 which can be paid only in online mode through credit/debit card or internet banking. The application fee JELET 2020 is Rs 500 (Plus bank charges) for all the candidates.

Step 5: Downloading of Confirmation Page- Once the candidates will complete all the above steps, they will be automatically directed to the application confirmation page. Candidates will have to download the page and keep it for future reference.

Application Correction-

The authorities will provide an application correction window for the candidates. It should be noted that no candidate will be able to edit the primary registration data i.e. Name, Father’s name, Mother’s Name, Date of Birth and gender. Other than this, no candidate will be allowed to make corrections after the stipulated time.

JELET Exam Centres 2020

JELET Admit Card 2020

The authorities will release the admit card of JELET 2020 in online mode. Candidates will be able to download JELET admit card 2020 by entering application number and password. The admit card will contain details like exam date & time, exam centre of the candidates. The admit card is an important document and no candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam without a valid admit card. Candidates can refer the given steps to download JELET 2020 admit card.

  • Visit Official website.

  • Click on the admit card link.

  • Login with Application Number and Password.

  • JELET 2020 admit card will be displayed on the screen.

  • Download the admit card and take a print out.

It should be noted that candidates will have to download the admit cards before the last date and if a candidate wants a duplicate admit card after the last date, then he/she must apply to the board and pay a processing fee of Rs 500 by a bank draft in the name of “West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board” payable at Kolkata.

JELET Result 2020

The authorities will release the result of JELET 2020 tentatively in the second week of August. Candidates will be able to check their results by logging in to the result portal. JELET result 2020 will be released in the form of rank cards which will contain rank and total score of the candidate. Candidates can refer the given steps to check the result of JELET 2020.

JELET Merit List 2020

The authorities will prepare a merit list of JELET 2020 on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the entrance test. The authorities will publish 5 different JELET 2020 merit lists based on the qualifying examination-

  • Merit list for Diploma holders in Engineering & Technology except Agricultural Engineering and Printing Technology.

  • Merit list for Diploma holders in Printing Technology.

  • Merit list for Diploma holders in Agricultural Engineering.

  • Merit list for Diploma holders in Pharmacy.

The authorities will prepare merit list in these types in the form of General Merit Rank (GMR) and rankings will be done in descending order of marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test.

Candidates shortlisted on the basis of merit list will be eligible for JELET counselling 2020. Candidates will have to register and pay counselling fee in order to participate in the counselling of JELET 2020. Candidates can refer the given steps to know about the procedure of JELET 2020 counselling-

  • Candidates will have to visit official website, complete registration and pay the counselling fee of Rs 500.

  • Depending on the number of available seats, a call list will be prepared out of registered candidates.

  • Candidates will have to report the counselling venue at the scheduled date and time as per the call list.

  • Document verification and seat allotment process will be done on the counselling venue.

  • It should be noted that the candidates have to be present at the counselling venue, failing which will result in the cancellation of candidature.

As you have lost your jelet 2019 admist card you can follow a few simple steps to retrieve your admist card again from the official website

Step 1:Login to the official website ofWest Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEE) i.e. www.wbjeeb.in

Step 2:Click on the link relevant to 'JELET2019 Admit Card'.

Step 3:Login with the credential (Registration ID, Username, and Password) provided at the time for registration to the registered email and mobile number.

Step 4:The Admit Card will be displayed on the screen and the candidate must check all the details which are printed on the Admit Card.

Step 5:Save and take a printout of the Admit Card for the future reference (till admission process).
