JELET Eligibility Criteria for Admission to Degree Course in Pharmacy
Candidates must have passed a Diploma in Pharmacy with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent CGPA. However, the minimum percentage for SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, and PwD candidates is 40%.
JELET Application Form 2024
WBJEEB concluded the JELET 2024 registration online. Candidates fulfilling the minimum eligibility conditions can apply for the JELET 2024 exam. The application process comprises registration, form filling, uploading the documents, payment of fee, and downloading of the confirmation page. Below are the steps to fill out the JELET application form 2024.
How to fill JELET 2024 Application Form
Registration - Firstly, candidates have to enter basic details like name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, email Id, etc. Once the details are submitted, candidates have to set a password and choose a security question. Upon successful JELET 2024 registration, candidates receive an application number on their registered mobile number and email Id.
Filling of JELET Application Form 2024- Log in using the application number & password and enter all the other required details like domicile, category, PwD status, home, district, family income status, religion, nationality, etc. Candidates also had to choose three zones of exam while filling in the details.
Uploading of documents - In the next step, candidates had to upload scanned images of the photograph and signature as per the specifications prescribed by the authorities.

Category 1:
Only one option is correct.
Correct option will yield 1 (one) mark
Incorrect option will yield -¼ (negative ¼) marks.
For any combination of more than one option, even if it contains the correct option, the said answer will be treated as incorrect and will yield -¼ (negative ¼) marks.
Not attempting the question will fetch 0 marks.
Category 2:
One or more options are correct.
Marking all correct options only will yield 2 (two) marks.
For any combination of answers containing one or more incorrect options, the said answer will be treated as incorrect, and it will yield zero (0) mark even if one or more of the chosen options is/are correct.
For partially correct answers, i.e., when all correct options are not marked and also no incorrect options are marked, marks awarded = 2 X (no of correct options marked) / (total no of actually correct options)

Candidates whose names appear on the merit list will be eligible to participate in the JELET 2024 counselling. The authority will announce the JELET counselling dates 2024 on the official website. The counselling process comprises registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the allotted institute. Candidates can refer to the given steps to know about the procedure of JELET 2024 counselling-
Candidates have to visit the official website, complete registration and pay the counselling fee of Rs 500.
Depending on the number of available seats, a call list will be prepared out of registered candidates.
Candidates will have to report the counselling venue at the scheduled date and time as per the call list.
Document verification and seat allotment process will be done at the counselling venue.
It should be noted that the candidates have to be present at the JELET counselling venue, failing which will result in the cancellation of candidature.

- Citizenship: The candidate must be an Indian national.
- No higher age limit applies to diploma holders in engineering, technology, or pharmacy.
- As of December 31, 2022, the maximum age for B. Sc. candidates is 27 (twenty-seven) years old.
- As of December 31, 2022, the maximum age for marine engineering diploma holders is 25 (twenty-five) years.

Hi,
Joint Entreance exam for lateral entry (JELET), is an entrance exam conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board for admission into second year directly of the bachelor's degree. Theexam is conducted offline.
To be eligible for JELET, there is no age limit for diploma holders in engineering and pharmacy. Minimum of 45% marks (or equivalent CGPA) is must.
With this exam, one who haven't done class 12th and chosen diploma have a chance to do engineering from second year.
There are many state level colleges and universities accepting the score in West Bengal. But currently, IITs and NITs do not allow diploma candidates to get a seat for engineering.
For general category, to get CS/IT branch one needs get rank under 200 for government colleges and universities. For mechanical engineering, you have a little bit chance.

Jelet is a joint entrance examination for lateral entry is conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance board for taking admission in the 2nd year of be or BTech courses. For this candidate has to pass the diploma engineering courses from a recognised Government Polytechnic with at least 60% marks. For B pharm courses admission Candidate should have diploma in pharmacy with at least 45% marks for Jain candidate and OBC SC ST and PWD Candidate should have 40% marks in diploma in pharmacy examination.
