Candidates can check the IIT Patna B.Tech seat matrix to know the number of seats available for each program. Knowing the number of seats course-wise, candidates can make their preferences course-wise. The allotment of seats will be based on the scores obtained in JEE Advanced.     The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is the authority responsible for conducting the counselling for JEE Advanced for B. Tech. admission at various IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. Only those candidates who have qualified JEE Advanced 2026 are eligible to participate in the registration process.
