IIITs vs NITs for CSE: Candidates deciding to choose between IIITs and NITs for the CSE branch must be aware of the placement statistics, cutoff, score, and more. As per the placement data, the top IIITs offer higher placement packages compared to NITs. However, NIT BTech CSE fees are around Rs 6 lakh, which is comparatively less than IIITs CSE fees, i.e., Rs 18 lakh. Additionally, top NITs don't accept students with a Class 12 score less than 75% (General). Whereas, candidates with a score less than 75% can secure admission at IIITs. Further, securing seats based on the cutoff score can be easier in IIITs compared to NITs. Both the institutes require candidates to clear the JEE Main exams.
