Now, VIT Vellore will conduct VITEEE 2026 as a computer-based test for BTech admissions across its campuses. The VITEEE 2026 exam dates are expected to happen in April, 2026. Compared to previous years, the difficulty level of the exam is generally rated between moderate and tough. A detailed paper analysis, along with students’ reactions, will offer a clearer picture of topic distribution, and important chapters once the exam will happen.
1. Physics: In Physics, topics like Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Magnetism, Optics, Thermodynamics, and Modern Physics carry the highest weightage. Questions are mostly concept-based with moderate numerical application.
2. Chemistry: For Chemistry, Physical Chemistry topics such as Thermodynamics, Electrochemistry, and Chemical Kinetics often dominate, while Inorganic Chemistry (Periodic Table, Coordination Compounds, and Chemical Bonding) and Organic Chemistry (Isomerism, Biomolecules, and Reactions) contribute a balanced mix of theory and application-based questions.
3. Mathematics: Mathematics remains the toughest for most students, with a high number of questions from Calculus, Vector Algebra, 3D Geometry, Coordinate Geometry, Probability, and Matrices. Speed and accuracy are key here, as the paper often tests problem-solving efficiency under time constraints.
4. English and Aptitude: This sections are generally easier, focusing on reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, data interpretation, and logical reasoning. For 2026, candidates can expect a similar distribution and moderate difficulty level. Strengthening conceptual clarity, practicing high-weightage chapters, and solving previous years’ papers will be essential to score well in the exam.
