The Session 1 of JEE Main 2026 Paper 1 will be conducted in multi-shifts, and the NTA calculates scores based on raw marks obtained in each shift. NTA percentile scores for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and the total score for B.E. / B. Tech.

Formula: 100 X Number of candidates appeared in the ‘Shift’ with raw score EQUAL TO OR LESS than the candidate/The total number of the candidates who appeared in the ‘Shift’

Note: The Percentile of the Total shall NOT be an aggregate or average of the Percentile of the individual subject. The percentile score is not the same as the percentage of marks obtained.
