Shift 2 was moderately tougher than Shift 1, with Physics emerging as the most challenging and lengthy section, followed closely by Mathematics. Chemistry was comparatively manageable, and the paper maintained a balanced distribution of 48 questions across all three subjects without any out-of-syllabus or paragraph-type questions.

No, your son is not eligible for OBC NCL for IIT JEE because you fall in the "creamy layer" occupational category, regardless of your current employment status or family income. Students whose family income is less than Rs. 8 lakhs annually and they are not belong to the "creamy layer".
