IPU B.Tech Eligibility Criteria 2026

The authorities has released the eligibility criteria for IPU B.Tech admission 2026 on the official website. Candidates looking for admission will have to meet the IPU B.Tech 2026 eligibility criteria. Ineligible candidates will not be offered admission.

IPU B.Tech 2026 Eligibility Criteria

• Students must have passed class 12 or equivalent exam with at least 55% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

• Students must not be more than 21 years old as on August 1, 2026.

• Candidate must have passed in English in their class 12 exam.

• Students must have a valid score in JEE Main Paper 1 conducted by NTA.

• Students seeking admission in B.Tech Biotechnology have to appear in IPU CET 2026.

• Candidates who are blind, dumb or deaf are ineligible.

Admission Process in B.Tech Courses at GGSIPU through JEE Main

GGSIPU accepts IPU CET scores for admission into B.Tech Biotechnology. Admission to all other courses will be through JEE Mains. Interested candidates have to apply for admission in online mode. Note that the application form of IPU B.Tech admission was available only for a specific period.

• Candidates seeking admission to GGSIPU have to fill out the JEE Main 2026 application form.

• Students must qualify JEE Main 2026 with a valid score.

• Students will have to fill out the application form for IPU B. Tech 2026.

• Students, on selecting the course while filling the IPU B. Tech application form, have to enter JEE Main application number and score.

• The university will make a merit list on the basis of candidates' scores in JEE Main 2026.

• Students will be called for counselling and admission to IPU on the basis of the merit list.

Admission Process for B.Tech Biotechnology Course through IPU CET 2026
Students looking for admission into B.Tech Biotechnology course are required to appear in the IPU CET 2026. On the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the entrance examination will be allotted a seat. Students are advised to first ensure that they fulfill IPU B. Tech 2026 eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. Only those candidates who will qualify for the entrance exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling session.
