For DU B.Tech admission, candidates must upload and present the following documents:

• Class X Certificate: To verify date of birth and parents’ names.

• Class XII Marksheet: Must match the name on the JEE (Main)-2026 form.

• SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/CW/KM/PwBD Certificate: Issued by the competent authority; names must match the JEE form and qualifying certificate.

• OBC-NCL Certificate: Issued by the competent authority; income certificate must be current.

• PwBD Disability Certificate: Issued by a recognized Government Hospital, with a photograph.

• Orphan Certificate: From a recognised orphanage or parents’ death certificate.

Here is the reservation percentage table for DU B.Tech Admission 2026:

DU BTech Admission 2026 Refund Policy

In the event of admission withdrawal by the candidate, the full fee will be refunded after a deduction of Rs. 5000.00 (five thousand only), provided the withdrawal is made before the last date of admission as announced by UoD. No refund will be granted for withdrawals made after the last date of admission under any circumstances. The following fees are non-refundable:

• Mid-Entry Fee

• Withdrawal Fee

Once admissions close, the refund process will begin, and UoD aims to complete the refunds within three months of the admission closure.

DU B.Tech Admission 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The authority has released the DU B.Tech admission criteria on the official website. Candidates can check the admission eligibility criteria in the steps mentioned below:

• Candidates must have passed Class XII or its equivalent from a recognized board.

• A candidate must have secured 60%* or more marks in an aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and must have passed English as a subject of study at the Senior School Certificate Examination level.

• For applying to B.Tech. Programs of UoD, candidates must have appeared in JEE (Main) Paper-I, 2027

• Candidates who have appeared at the Class XII examination in the year 2027 and have been placed in compartment (supplementary) will not be eligible for admission for the year 2026-27.

DU BTech Admission Process through JEE Mains

The authority has announced the DU BTech 2026 application form dates online. To apply for B.Tech. programs at the University of Delhi, candidates must have the following:

• JEE (Main)- 2026 Application Number

• Applicant’s Name (as it appears in JEE (Main)-2026)

• Date of Birth
