The Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE) has postponed the AP EAMCET Final Phase Seat Allotment Result 2025 because of a legal case filed in the Andhra Pradesh High Court (AP HC) by 03 students related to their local status. There is no confirmed statement from the APSCHE officials yet.
This delay could affect the academic schedule for first-year students. APSCHE is working to resolve the issue quickly, and there is a possibility that the AP EAMCET 2nd phase results 2025 might be announced by August 14, but this date is not fixed. If the court proceedings take longer, the announcement could be delayed further.
The issue surfaced when three students who studied their SSC in Andhra Pradesh and Intermediate in Telangana filed a case in the AP HC. They claimed they were not considered as 'local candidates' in the AP EAMCET 2025 counselling. After hearing the arguments, the court instructed the Department of Technical Education to treat these students as 'local candidates.'
However, the DTE argued that the web options process had already closed, and the Phase 1 reporting was over. Since the AP EAMCET 2nd phase allotment results 2025 were already prepared.
If they include these students as 'local candidates', the board will face serious issues in the counselling process, forcing the merit rankings and AP EAMCET seat allotment 2025 to be changed. Hence, DTE decided to challenge the court’s decision by filing a counter-petition.
As a result of these administrative issues, the AP EAMCET 2025 final phase seat allotment results have been halted for a while. Classes for first-year students were supposed to start on August 4, but they have already been delayed by a week.

Board of Open Schooling and Skill Education senior secondary is recognized as equivalent to 10+2 from a national open school board, so technically it qualifies you to apply for entrance exams like AP EAMCET. However, AP EAMCET specifically mentions that candidates must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) or other recognized boards. So, if your BOSSE certificate is considered equivalent by BIEAP, then you are eligible.
