No you will not get an admit card and neither you will be allowed to appear for phase 1 examination of MET 2022 but you can appear for phase 2 examination of NET 2022 by paying additional 1400/-.
Yes you will have to pay an additional fee of INR 1400/- to book your slot for phase 2 because as per the information brochure of MET 2022 the candidates applying before May 9th, 2022 but does not book their slot then they are required to pay additional 1400/- to book the slot for phase 2 of MET 2022
Once registered for MET 2022, as per the instruction given by the competent authorities, if you get absent in Phase 1 of MET 2022 or even you do not book the slot for phase 1 then also you can apply for phase 2 but you will be only allowed to book slot for phase 2 on an additional payment of INR 1400/- so you can apply for phase 2 if you could not appear for phase 1 due to any reason.

It is not at all necessary to appeared for the all three phases of Manipal entrance test. The examination would be held in three phases to offered seats in engineering courses and it completely depends upon the candidate whether he wants to appear for one or more than one phases. Last date for applying is set to be 31st March 2022 and the examination for Phase 1 would be held in the second week of May. Now if you do not want to appear for the Phase 1 of examination and you are not able to registered directly for the phase 2 then you can wait for the conclusion of phase 1 examination as the registrations for phase 2 would open again for sure. Following below mentioned are the steps for applying:
Visit the MET 2022 official website - manipal.edu.
Submit details like name, mobile number, email address etc. to complete the registration process.
Next, login using generated credentials and fill out the detailed application form.
Upload required documents as per specifications.
Finally, make the payment of the application fee.
