Here are some important points given for Jee Main 2025 last-minute tips:

  • Focus on your strengths: Don't start anything new. This is just not the time to do so. Instead, try and focus on building your strengths. Make the strong points and topics of JEE Main 2025 strong such that you don't skip any questions pertaining to those topics. You must have studied and revised it many times. Hone and sharpen those topics that you are good at and know better than the others.

  • Revise the important formulae: Use the short notes to revise the important pointers as well as the formulae. It is important to use short notes as there will be no time to check the chapters and topics in detail. You will have just enough time to skim through the most important points for each topic. Check those topics that are considered to have more weightage as per the past year's JEE Main question papers.

  • Keep it real: While many endorse doing mock tests, it is a reality that one or two mock tests can be done. To continuously sit and solve previous papers all day long is improbable and impossible too. It is also not the right method to go. So the best strategy is to do a mock test per day, analyze and then revise. This ensures that you correct the mistakes you made and don't repeat them in the actual exam which is what matters. Don't let a bad mock test performance hinder or demoralize you. It is important to keep grounded and improvise at every step.

Have a question related to JEE Main ?

Hello,

Yes, the JEE Main 2025 application form is out. National Testing Agency opened its registration window on 28th October, 2024. This process remains open till 22nd November, 2024, 9:00 PM. A candidate can find and fill up the form on the official website of JEE Main: jeemain.nta.ac.in.

The first session of JEE Main 2025 will be conducted between January 22-31, 2025.

For JEE Mains, you cannot use a Rajasthan state general EWS certificate and need to obtain a central EWS certificate to claim the EWS category reservation benefits in your application form because JEE Mains exam is conducted at a national level, so the reservation benefits are based on a central EWS certificate issued by the appropriate authority, not a state-specific one even if you are a dropper it has nothing to do with caste certificate.

If your are under ews category at central level Contact your local district administration office to initiate the process of obtaining a central EWS certificate.it can be also issued in states too even everything is online in today's world so go for it.

Normally while filling up the form of JEE Main, you are asked to provide percentage or CGPA in 10th class.

The structure and requirements vary a bit every year so it would be better to read the information bulletin for JEE Main.

In most cases, you are likely to be asked for your overall percentage or CGPA. The system would work out the percentage, according to the guidelines. Either on the basis of marks scored in all subjects or top five subjects.

In order to avoid any blunders, it is always recommended to:

1. **Check the Official Notification:** Look for the latest JEE Main notification to get the correct information.

2. In case of any doubts, refer to the helpline provided by NTA

3. All the details should be checked correctly for there to be no incorrect data in the application form

Follow these and get sure that your marks obtained in 10th class get correctly mentioned in JEE Main application.

Hello,

No, if you belong to the Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) category, you cannot apply under the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category for JEE Mains 2024. Here’s why:

  1. Mutually Exclusive Categories : SEBC and EWS are separate categories. SEBC falls under the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category, which receives reservations based on social and educational disadvantage. EWS, on the other hand, is a category specifically for economically disadvantaged candidates who do not belong to any reserved categories (SC, ST, or OBC).

  2. Eligibility for EWS : Only candidates from the General or Unreserved category, without any existing reservation, are eligible for the EWS category. Therefore, SEBC/OBC candidates cannot apply under EWS, even if they meet the income criteria, because they already have a reserved category.

  3. Reservation Benefits : SEBC candidates are eligible for the OBC-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) reservation if they meet the income and other requirements under OBC-NCL. This is a different type of reservation with its own set of benefits, distinct from EWS.

  4. Clarification in Official Guidelines : The official guidelines for JEE Mains specify that EWS is exclusively for General category candidates, thereby excluding SEBC/OBC candidates from applying under EWS.

Thus, if you belong to the SEBC category, you should apply under OBC-NCL, not EWS.

Hope it helps !
