Here are some important points given for Jee Main 2026 last-minute tips:
Focus on your strengths: Don't start anything new. This is just not the time to do so. Instead, try and focus on building your strengths. Make the strong points and topics of JEE Main 2025 strong such that you don't skip any questions pertaining to those topics. You must have studied and revised it many times. Hone and sharpen those topics that you are good at and know better than the others.
Revise the important formulae: Use the short notes to revise the important pointers as well as the formulae. It is important to use short notes as there will be no time to check the chapters and topics in detail. You will have just enough time to skim through the most important points for each topic. Check those topics that are considered to have more weightage as per the past year's JEE Main question papers.
Keep it real: While many endorse doing mock tests, it is a reality that one or two mock tests can be done. To continuously sit and solve previous papers all day long is improbable and impossible too. It is also not the right method to go. So the best strategy is to do a mock test per day, analyze and then revise. This ensures that you correct the mistakes you made and don't repeat them in the actual exam which is what matters. Don't let a bad mock test performance hinder or demoralize you. It is important to keep grounded and improvise at every step.

Say No to self-doubt: Don't allow room for low self-confidence. Keep your faith and do your best. There is no guarantee regarding the performance in the JEE Main. A day may be good or bad. Just do your best and move further. The last few days are crucial but it is necessary to keep cool and avoid stressing. Tune yourself to keep mentally strong and you will see that nothing and no one can defeat you in your march to success. Check a topic, do a mock test, prepare for that section and move to the next one without letting doubts creep in.
Take Regular Breaks: Taking a small break of 5-10 minutes after an hour of study is very important in order to relax your mind. It reduces fatigue and helps in improving concentration. It will help for last minute revision for JEE Mains. Also, taking brief intervals breaks the monotony and refreshes you enough to start studying again with an increased energy level.
Adequate and Good Sleep is necessary: Make sure that you get the right amount of sleep before the exam. Depriving oneself of sleep will result in fatigue and a high stress level with a drop in concentration level.
Eat healthy during these days: This is pretty crucial as you don't want to end up feeling unwell on what happens to be a very important day for your future. Therefore, say no to Junk food, eat healthily, and keep fit.
Enhance your Concentration: Boosting your concentration level is an essential thing to do. It will aid you in focusing during long study hours. Experts suggest that activities like meditation and yoga rejuvenate the mind and keep the body fit. Indulging in such activities is very beneficial during the preparation time.
No need to discuss your preparation: It is a common tendency to check with the next person about their preparation. This is illogical as their performance will not boost yours. Hello
Since you’re reappearing for your Class 12 boards in 2026, that will be counted as your official passing year. So, you will be eligible to write JEE Advanced in 2026 and 2027. Although you submitted the boards in 2025, that attempt won’t be considered due to the compartment. JEE Advanced rules allow 2 attempts in 2 consecutive years after passing 12th. So you still have both chances left, which is great! Just make sure you meet the other eligibility conditions too. Keep your focus strong, you’ve got this!

Hello aspirant,
Start with NCERT in every subject for JEE Main. For physics, use H.C. Verma and D.C. Pandey; for chemistry, use R.C. Mukherjee and O.P. Tandon; and for mathematics, use R.D. Sharma or Cengage. J.D. Lee assists with inorganic chemistry, while Morrison & Boyd assists with organic chemistry. Practice chapter-by-chapter Arihant or MTG past year's papers. For efficient preparation, concentrate on clear concepts, frequent revision, and passing practice exams.
