Hello,
No, your mistake in selecting "Haryana" instead of "Delhi" as the state of 12th-passing during JEE Main form filling will not affect your eligibility for the Delhi quota in JAC (Joint Admission Counselling). Here’s why:
Eligibility for Delhi Quota: The Delhi quota is determined by your school’s location (where you passed your 12th), not what is mentioned in the JEE Main form. If your school is in Delhi, you remain eligible.
Document Verification: During JAC counselling, documents like your 12th mark sheet and school address will be verified. These will confirm your Delhi eligibility.
JEE Data Correction: Even if the correction window didn’t allow the change, it won’t impact your JAC counselling since NTA (JEE Main authority) does not share this detail for quota determination.
