Hello

Don’t worry, it’s not a serious mistake.
You just selected the wrong option for your qualifying exam type.
If you studied under CBSE or any State Board, you can fix it easily.
When the JEE correction window opens, choose your correct board name.
Even if it stays the same, your marksheet will clear any confusion later.
So stay calm it won’t affect your admit card or eligibility.

Hello,

If a student has failed in one board subject (like Maths 1A), they can still appear for JEE Main Session 1, as eligibility is not verified at the time of exam.

However:

The JEE Main result will be displayed normally with percentile and score.

The student will not be eligible for admission or counselling unless they pass all subjects in the board exam before the admission process starts.

So yes, they can write and get results but must clear the failed subject to be eligible for admission.

Hope you understand.
