Amrita B.Tech Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026

The authority has published the AEEE 2026 eligibility criteria on the official website. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria of AEEE from the table below.

Eligibility Criteria for AEEE 2026

  • Candidates who have completed 10+2 or an equivalent examination are eligible. Students appearing for the 12th exam in 2026 are also eligible.

  • 60% of aggregate marks in all three subjects of physics, chemistry, and mathematics must be secured by the candidate, with 50% in each.

  • Indians and foreign nationals both can apply.

  • Applicants must be born after July 1, 2005.

  • JEE Main 2026 exam-qualified candidates with a valid score are also eligible.

Amrita B.Tech Admission Through JEE Main

Amrita University allows candidates to pursue the B.Tech course based on their JEE Main ranks. As per the latest information brochure, 30% of B.Tech seats are allocated through JEE Main rank secured by the candidates. For that, they need to fill out the AEEE 2026 application form by choosing the selection process based on JEE Main. The authority allocates seats after registering for CSAP counselling.

How to Apply for Amrita B.Tech 2026?

The AEEE 2026 application form registration for the first session has concluded. Candidates have to follow the procedure below during application form submission.

  • First, visit the Amrita online application portal at aeee.amrita.edu.

  • Enter personal details like name, email id and phone number to register online.

Amrita B.Tech Entrance Exam 2026

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is conducting the Amrita B.Tech entrance exam 2026 in two phases. Phase 2 of AEEE exam will be conducted from April 24 to 30, 2026, while phase 1 is scheduled from January 30 to February 1, 2026. Candidates with 60% marks in 10+2 or an equivalent exam are eligible to apply. Applicants must register, book an exam slot, download the admit card and appear for the exam. Qualified candidates need to participate in online CSAP counselling. Candidates with a JEE Main score can go through the admission process without an examination. The Amrita B.Tech 2026 entrance exam paper is about 2.5 hours.

Amrita B.Tech 2026 Selection Process

The authority will conduct the Amrita B.Tech 2026 selection process in two methods. In the first method, candidates will be selected based on the AEEE 2026 rank, while in the second method, the seats will be allotted based on JEE Main score. Both sections of candidates must register for CSAP 2026 counselling. In the Centralised Seat Allotment Process, 70% of seats are allotted through the AEEE exam and the remaining 30% from the JEE Main score.
