Hello,

For the IMU CET 2025 , only your 12th-grade marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) are considered for eligibility — not your 11th-grade scores.

Eligibility Criteria for IMU CET 2025 (Undergraduate Courses):

  • Educational Qualification : You must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in PCM .

  • English Proficiency : You should have secured at least 50% marks in English in either your 10th or 12th standard.

  • Age Limit : For General category males, the maximum age is 25 years as of August 1, 2025. Age relaxations apply for reserved categories and females.

  • Marital Status : For certain courses, candidates are required to be unmarried.

  • Medical Fitness : Candidates must meet the medical standards set by the Directorate General of Shipping, including specific eyesight and hearing requirements.

Since you have 67% in PCM in your 12th grade , you meet the PCM requirement. However, make sure you also have at least 50% in English in either your 10th or 12th standard to be fully eligible.

Hello,

No, you cannot apply for IMU CET with a PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) background . IMU CET requires Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in 12th grade for most of its courses, especially for B.Tech in Marine Engineering and Nautical Science .

If you have PCB without Mathematics , you are not eligible for engineering or navigation-related courses at Indian Maritime University (IMU) . However, you may check for BBA (Logistics, Retailing & E-Commerce) as it may have different eligibility criteria.

Hope it helps !
