    Group B is largely CSE, mechanical, electrical, and electronic-related fields, and the fee structure for Group B is listed in the above table. The tuition fee for the category 5 Group B is Rs. 4.95 Lakhs annually, and the total fees is approximately Rs. 25.49 Lakhs, including hostel fees.

    Group A (core branches) have lesser fees as compared to Group B (CS, EEE, Mechanical). The placement rate of VIT Vellore is around 70 per cent with a median salary of Rs. 6 Lakhs. Students in the same classrooms from different tiers are paying different fees in the range between Rs. 2-5 Lakhs per year. The data for the Bhopal and Amravati campuses is not yet available.

    There is a significant variation in the fees and ROI between campuses, groups, and branches. Students need to choose the branch, campus, and fee tier options carefully.
