JEE Main

  • JEE Main can be given for 3 consecutive years after 12th.

  • Each year has 2 sessions .

  • You are eligible in 2025, 2026 and 2027 .

  • Since you did not appear in 2025, you still have:

    • 2026 – 2 attempts

    • 2027 – 2 attempts

JEE Main attempts left: 4

JEE Advanced

  • JEE Advanced can be given for 2 consecutive years after 12th.

  • You were eligible in 2025 and 2026 .

  • Since you missed 2025, you can appear only in 2026 .

10th percentage

  • There is no fixed minimum percentage needed in Class 10 to prepare for JEE.

  • You just need to pass Class 10 .

Important part is Class 12

  • You must study Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Class 11 and 12 .

  • You must pass Class 12 from a recognized board .

Minimum marks in Class 12

  • For JEE Advanced : at least 75% marks in Class 12
    (65% for SC/ST).

  • For JEE Main : you must pass Class 12.
    Many colleges also ask 75% .

If you study in a foreign country

  • Your Class 11 and 12 certificate must be equivalent to CBSE/ISC .

  • You need an equivalence certificate from AIU (Association of Indian Universities) .

  • You must have Physics, Chemistry, Maths .
