Questions related to JEE Main
i belong to general category, I got 90.98 percentile in jee mains, did I qualified it?
Look, it's totally depends upon on the Institute and stream which you are willing to take admission into. Like You can't get into top NITs with this percentile so you are not qualified for NITs on the basis of this score, but you are definitely qualified to take admission into GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutions) based on this score. So this totally depends upon the Institute.
Now you cannot take admission into IITs on the basis of JEE MAINS score if you score 100 percentile, to take admission into IITs you will have to appear for JEE ADVANCED and top 250000 JEE MAINS rankers are qualified to appear for JEE ADVANCED, so you are qualified by this perspective.
If I talk about your rank then on the basis of this percentile your rank would fall somewhere between 92275-103730. To check your rank by yourself, please go through this link
To see eligible colleges according to your rank please visit this link
I cant even get iiit in 90.98 percentile? Please suggest me some good colleges of BTEC , I got 90.98 percentile in jee mains, suggest me government and private colleges. And I belong to general category.
Your assumption is right. You can't even get Admission into IIITs based on this percentile. Look, you rank would fall somewhere between 92275-103730. But with this rank, there is a possibility that you will get a seat in some of the GFTIs like Assam University, Silchar or Ghani Khan Choudhary Institute of Engineering amd Technology. But you can get admission only under HS Quota, For AI and OS Candidates, Cutoffs are very very. I suggest you to go for JOSAA official webpage and see the list of all the GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutions) and their Cutoffs too.
Since you haven't mentioned your Home State, I cannot assume your state but look for the GFTI of your Home State so that you may able to avail HS quota facility and then possibility is very high that you will get a seat.
To go through JOSAA website, please copy paste this link in your browser
You can fill up the form for Jamia Millia Islamia University. To see all the Engineering Colleges across India According to your rank, please visit this link
i secured 98.51 percentile in jee feb attempt .. can i expect cse in any iiit or nit?

Some NITs that you may get at this rank are:
- NIT Durgapur
- NIT Patna
- NIT Agartala

Your rank will be around 94116 - 105800 as per our rank predictor at https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
Your obc rank will be around 30,000
With above rank, you have very low chances in NITs .
For example, under other state quota closing rank for some of the lower NIT for OBC category is provided below as 6th josaa counselling 2020 :-
Nit Ap, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology) :- 14902 obc rank
Nit nagaland :- Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology) :- 15340 obc rank
National Institute of Technology Agartala, Production Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology :- 15659 obc rank
