Candidates preparing for the JEE Advanced 2026 must secure the qualifying marks in JEE Main. NTA sets the top percentile or cutoff ranks category-wise for JEE Mains to be eligible for JEE Advanced. NTA has uploaded the JEE Main 2026 cutoff for General, OBC, SC, ST and EWS. The minimum percentile required for the General is 93.4123549, for OBC is 80.9232583, for SC is 63.9172792, and for ST is 52.0174712. Those who score above the JEE Main 2026 cutoff can appear for the JEE Advanced exam. Provided, they must also be the top 2.5 lakh candidates. Students planning to appear for the JEE Advanced 2026 exam must have participated in the JEE Main 2026 exam.
