Lowest JEE Main Registration this Year? The National Testing Agency has concluded the JEE Main 2025 session registration process on November 22, 2025. According to the notification, A total of 13.78 lakh candidates registered for the examination, with 13 lakh appearing for both Paper 1 and Paper 2, resulting in an attendance rate of 94.4%. This marks an increase of 1.6 lakh registrations compared to last year’s 12.21 lakh. JEE Main 2025 sees historic low registrations so far. The JEE Main 2025 session 1 exam was held from January 22 to January 30, 2025, across 598 exam centres in 284 cities in India, as well as in 15 international centres. NTA has released the JEE Main 2025 exam date for sessions 1 & 2.

The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 exams are scheduled to be held from January 21 to 30. The BE and BTech papers will be conducted as computer-based tests, while the BArch drawing test will continue in offline mode, with candidates required to complete the questions on A4 sheets under examination conditions.

Despite the overall increase in registration, the pace was slower than expected, with only 5.10 lakh students registering in the first two weeks after the application window opened on October 28. The lowest registration JEE Mains 2025 can be attributed to several factors. The EWS category is based on the family’s annual income, which must be below 8 lakhs from all sources.
The certificate should be issued by a competent government authority and must be valid for the current financial year.
