Lowest JEE Main Registration this Year? The National Testing Agency has concluded the JEE Main 2025 session registration process on November 22, 2025. According to the notification, A total of 13.78 lakh candidates registered for the examination, with 13 lakh appearing for both Paper 1 and Paper 2, resulting in an attendance rate of 94.4%. This marks an increase of 1.6 lakh registrations compared to last year’s 12.21 lakh. JEE Main 2025 sees historic low registrations so far. The JEE Main 2025 session 1 exam was held from January 22 to January 30, 2025, across 598 exam centres in 284 cities in India, as well as in 15 international centres. NTA has released the JEE Main 2025 exam date for sessions 1 & 2.

Despite the overall increase in registration, the pace was slower than expected, with only 5.10 lakh students registering in the first two weeks after the application window opened on October 28. The JEE Main entrance examination will be conducted online. Candidates who completed their registration were able to download the JEE Main 2025 admit card from January 19, 2025. Why JEE Main 2025 registrations are low?
