Hi,
LJIET Ahmedabad provides get placement offers to students. The placement cell is apparently very efficient & helpful. Around 80% of students get placed in reputed organizations like Amazon, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, etc. The average salary offered is around INR 4 to 5 LPA. More than 150 companies come here to offer recruitment.
The infrastructure is also good. The classrooms, library, labs are well maintained & they also offer sports equipment & basketball court. The classrooms are very big & spacious & there is also proper canteen facility.
The faculty is very motivating & approachable. They are very qualified & knowledgeable & prepare students for future job opportunities.
SAL Ahmedabad also provides good placement opportunities. Around 85% to 90% students get well placed from this college. Companies like TCS, Gujarat Infoways, come here for placements. The average salary offered is INR 6 to 7 LPA & the highest salary offered is around INR 20 LPA.
The college has a good infrastructure but the facilities provided are average. There is parking issue. The classrooms, library, labs are not great but very average.
The faculty is experienced & helpful & they try to help the students as much as possible.
These are the few points to be considered before taking admission into an institution.

Greetings,
here are some basic facts first:
- College repute:
GEC is a government college while LJIET is a private college, both of them have good track records.
- Fees:
- GEC - approx. 6,000 Rs.
LJIET - approx. 3 lacs
- faculty:
GEC: the faculty here is highly regarded by the current students for being helpful and knowledgeable.
LJIET: the faculty here is good (some very good, some not so much)
- Infrastructure:
GEC: outdates, not as grand and lack of maintenance.
LJIET: good infrastructure and facilities for the money
- Placements:
GEC - the average package offered is around 2.5-3.5 lacs per annum, though paid internship opportunities are good here.
LJIET - Average package offered ranges around 4 lacs per annum.
Bottom line is : If you think that paying more money for LJIET is worth it then it is better as a whole college experience and placement wise. if you want to go by reputation then GEC is better.
I'd suggest opt for GEC if you want to go for higher studies later and do not much care for placements.
good luck.
Government engineering College, Rajkot has one of the best government engineering colleges which have a decent to good infrastructure facilities. The college has good placement cell which includes experienced faculty members and alumni's. Overall placement is about 80%. The most important point is the fees structure is very much less though it gives all the facilities. In term of that LJIET, Ahmedabad has greater fees though in term of infrastructure and facilities both are comparable. The difference makes placement. GEC has far better placement offers than LJIET. The number of students placed makes the overall difference. The average CTC are almost same but most important factor is that one. Hope it would be helpful
