my jeemain paper 2 air is 16479 and in obc category air is 5590 .Is there any chance that I can get MANIT for arch? I am a domicile of bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
It's hard to tell about your admission possibilities based on your rank in MNIT but based on previous year's cutoff and comparing it to your rank you might not be able to grab a seat. 2019's cutoff for MNIT in B.Arch for OBC category was 3789 and since your rank is 5590 there's a big difference but Cutoffs vary every year so you can still expect a seat, so I'll recommend you to go for state level counseling and try your luck.
If not in MNIT don't let your hopes down since there are various other institutes for you based on your rank which you can check by using the JEE mains college predictor link for B.Arch :-
Hope this helps.
I got 196105 rank in jee main (general) and 63535 in obc Muslim.can have any chance to get iits or nit in.any engineering?
Aspirant, sorry to say but with this category rank you are not eligible in any NIT,IIIT OR GFTIs as your category rank 63535 is far from the range of last OBC RANK CUTOFFS of any branch in any NIT,IIIT OR GFTIs.
According to previous year cutoffs and trends the minimum OBC CATEGORY closing rank for NITs,IIITs,GFTIs are as follows:
NIT: 10,000 TO 12,500 approximately
IIIT: 11,000 TO 13,000 approximately
NIT: 18,000 TO 20,000 approximately
These closing rank is irresepective of branch and home state. But your cutoffs are far from these range. Hence by observing these cutoffs you can easily understand that there is no chance for you to get into NIT,IIIT OR GFTIs.
Still you can try your luck by participating in CSAB special counselling for better chances.
You can follow these Career360's articles for better understanding of cutoffs.
