JMI B.Tech Admission 2020 - Jamia Millia Islamia University will be conducting JMI B.Tech admission 2020 to allot eligible candidates into the undergraduate engineering courses offered by the institute. The application form of JMI B.Tech admission 2020 will be available tentatively from the last week of February till the third week of May. Candidates who wish to participate in the process of JMI B.Tech admission 2020 are required to complete the application procedure before the final date. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria of JMI B.Tech admission 2020 before commencing the application process. The list of requirements which need to be fulfilled for admissions will be present in the JMI B.Tech 2020 eligibility criteria which will be released by the admission authorities. Inability to meet the eligibility criteria may lead to the rejection of the candidate’s admission.
Eligibility Criteria of JMI B.Tech 2020
The candidates should be 17 years old as on October 1, 2020
Should have completed 10+2 (or equivalent) qualifying examination from a recognized board.
JEE Main qualified candidates (2018 or 2019) or those who will be appearing for it in 2020 will also be eligible for JMI B.Tech admission 2020.
Candidates should have secured minimum aggregate marks of 55% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of 10+2th (or equivalent) qualifying exam.
Those candidates with an engineering diploma recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education of ¾ years will be eligible only if he/she has scored atleast 55% marks.
JEE Main 2020
Candidates who have a valid JEE Main score will be eligible for direct admissions based on merit.
The authorities will provide reservation of certain percentage of seats to candidates under special categories. While applying for reservation, the candidates will have to make sure they have all of the required documents otherwise their claim will be rejected.

The application form of JMI B.Tech 2020 will be available tentatively from the last week of February in online mode. Candidates will be required to submit the application form before the final date to participate in the admission process. All of the provided details should be valid.
Step 1 - Registration: Candidates will have to visit the official website and click on the application link. For registration, the candidates will have to provide their name, email ID and mobile number and postal address. Selection of the preferred course also has to be done.
Step 2 - Filling of Application Form: Next, the candidates will have to provide their valid personal, academic and contact details in the application form of JMI B.Tech admission 2020.
Step 3 - Uploading of Scanned Images: After filling the application form, the candidates will have to upload their scanned photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities.

After the images are uploaded, the registration ID will be generated and sent to the candidate’s email ID. Candidates are advised to keep the registration ID safely since it will be required for login purposes.
Step 4 - Application Fee Payment: Finally, the candidates will have to pay the required application fee. Payment can be done in both modes - online (net banking/credit card/debit card) and offline mode (SBI challan). An acknowledgement slip will be generated after the fee is paid.

The concerned authorities will prepare the cutoff of JMI B.Tech 2020 based on the merit of the candidates who have applied for admission. JMI B.Tech 2020 cutoff will act as a screening process for admissions into the B.Tech courses offered by the institute. The cutoff will vary as per the category and course selected by the candidates. Those candidates who meet the cutoff will have higher chances of admissions. However, admissions are not final just on the basis of cutoff marks.
The merit list of JMI B.Tech 2020 will be released by the authorities in online mode. The list of candidates selected to participate in the counselling of JMI B.Tech admission 2020 will be present in the merit list. Candidates will be shortlisted according to their merit in the qualifying examination. Only those candidates whose names are present in the merit list will have to report for the counselling process.
Candidates will have to confirm their admission through the counselling of JMI B.Tech 2020. The selected candidates will be informed through email and the candidates will have to login and download their counselling letter. Allotment of seats will be done on the basis of JEE Main merit, preferences selected and availability of seats. After the allotment, the candidates will have to submit documents and pay the required fee as confirmation of admission.

Physics is as important as math and chemistry in JEE as it carries equal number of marks. There are important topics hat carry a good weightage of marks like
Oscillation and Waves

. Do not omit these.
Electromagnetic Induction and AC
are a few topics that a lot of queestions can be expected from.
Prepare formula sheets or flash cards for formulae from each chapter seperately which will make revision easy.
If you do not have a lot of time revise and focus more on what you already know.

there are a lot of factors determining cutoffs like difficulty of the exam, previous trends, number of people attending and how many seats are available.
I cannot predict the cutoff for 2020 but depending on previous years' cutoffs, minimum marks for qualifying for ST category was around 24-30 marks.
