Some of the entrance exams conducted in India are JEE Main, JEE Advanced, GATE, VITEEE, BITSAT, KEAM, and SRMJEE. The undergraduate degree is commonly known as Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech). Its duration is 4 years. Qualification - The applicant must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board. Recognised boards include CBSE, ICSE, State boards, NIOS and other similar ones.

Compulsory subjects - It is compulsory for students to have PCM i.e., Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in class 12. English is also made a compulsory subject by some colleges.
