GCET Answer Key 2018

GCET Answer KeyGCET Answer Key 2018 - Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Goa will release GCET 2018 answer key within a week after the exam gets over in the second week of May 2018. The state level engineering entrance test will be held in offline mode on May 8 -9, 2018. The Physics paper will be held on May 8, 2018 from 10:00-12:00 p.m; Chemistry Paper will be from 2:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m. The Maths paper of GCET 2018 will be held on May 9, 2018 from 10:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m  The answer key of Goa CET 2018 will be useful for candidates who will have taken the engineering entrance test for admission to 1,300 undergraduate engineering seats across the participating institutes. GCET 2018 answer key will be available for candidates as per different paper codes, thus, they must check the answer key of the corresponding paper they have appeared in. GCET answer key 2018 will carry all the correct answers to the questions asked in the question paper of Goa CET. Thus, candidates can check and compare the answers they have marked in the question paper with the answer key of GCET 2018 and calculate their probable score in the examination.

Key highlights of GCET Answer Key 2018

  • The answer key of GCET 2018 will be released by DTE Goa in the third week of May 2018

  • Goa CET (GCET) answer key 2018 contains answers to all 225 questions asked in the entrance test

  • The paper of GCET 2018 consists of 3 sections - Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with a weightage of 75 questions given to each section. 

  • By comparing the answer given in the GCET answer key 2018 with their answers, candidates can get a virtual score even before GCET 2018 results are announced.

  • With the release of the answer key of GCET 2018, candidates are able to assess their admission chances well in advance by calculating their approximate score.

  • Based on this score, candidates can pin down colleges and courses where they stand a chance of getting selected for admission.

GCET Exam Pattern 2018

  • GCET 2018 will be held in offline mode for admissions to B.E. programmes across the participating institutes of the state level engineering entrance test.

  • The test will have questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics wherein each section will have 75 questions, making it a total of 225 questions.

  • The paper will carry multiple choice questions wherein the candidates have to mark 1 correct answer out of the 4 answer options.

  • For each correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded. While for incorrect answers, there is no negative marking.

No, you will not get any benefit as you will be considered OBC in creamy layer and you will be treated as a general candidate only.
